So, let’s talk about the live-action adaptation of the Sentinels universe. Sure, it never really happened, what with the animated features being more popular, but we can dream.

So, who plays Legacy? Who’s Expatriette? Who could play Chrono-Ranger? Enquiring minds need to know!

I made a thread like this actually. We ended up in a discussion about casting and decided that Nicholas cage should play setback.

well, I mean, personally I kind of see him as chrono-ranger and I don't know why.

I could see Gina Carano as Expatriette, myself. She’s not great at, y’know, emoting, but she’s a legit badass.

First Lieutenant Vyktor: Domonic Monaghan

Field Lieutenant Tamar: Gina Carano

Expatriette: Sophie Cookson

Setback: Josh Krasinski

April Ludgate as Nightmist?  YES.

I need this in my life.

Alan Tudyk as Absolute Zero sounds amazing!

Expatriette should clearly be played by Gwendoline Christie, she’s got the appropriate stature and badassness.

Not arguing her badassness, but I thought Expatriette was shorter than that…

edit

actually, i checked it & I'm a bit confused… cause in her Bio she's 6'1". but on Quick draw it shows her just a bit shorter than Ambuscade who's bio says he's 5'8" so either they pulled some Robert Downey Jr stuff on him for that frame or Expatriette's Bio is off… & that's the only card i could find that has a good LoS perspective that works for a comparison, on Don't Dismiss Anything she's kneeling & on Rites of Rebirth the perspective isn't set right for a comparison

Ambuscade is in disguise in that shot , such a disguise could involve lifts

This is true, but, as a man who has played FrankeNfurter on stage, 4 inch platforms to make him the taller person are not exactly suble. I would suggest that he had the high ground, but if he did he wouldn't have been defeated so...

Ok I looked through the decks for another expat height comparison , the best one I can find is Aura of Vision where she definitely looks a foot taller than the Idealist.Perhaps the quick draw picture is from early in expats story before they established her height ? Or Ambuscade is on a step, or something. In the in game start up screen she's the same height as Greatest who's also 6' 1''

Or perhaps I was once not great at height consistency in my drawings.

But this is back in the 60s, when Adam had to draw everything and couldn’t put as much time toward consistency. It turned out a lot better than most of his stick figures or nondescript Jack Donovans.
