Guise is coming soon! Guise is coming soon! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
I am not surprised that is your response.
I am surprised it is so measured.
I'm at work otherwise it would have been less restrained.
Who? Never heard of him.

Fanatic AND Scholar? Coming sooner than later? Not last?
*swoon*
While I'm a bit disappointed at apparently not getting Biomancer's episode any time soon, I remember Christopher saying he wanted to do something really special for the 40th episode, so I'm not at all surprised they went for Guise's episode. Plus it makes Powerhound happy!
Although the Fanatic and Apostate and Wager Master episodes are probably going to be outright crazy in their own right. Whoo boy. Actually, this is pretty much the entire month of "let's explain all the really really crazy weird characters that are going to have weird existential cosmic relevance".
Speaking of Biomancer, though, it was interesting to find out a bit more about what really happened with Con, and I feel like I can now go back to picturing Chrono and Con as Sam and Al again. Though now I'm even more interested in just what the heck Biomancer's ultimate motivations are for all these shenangians.
Finding out my precious psychic child apparently got to hold an entire important hero party makes me not mind waiting until the OblivAeon ep. :D Also it seems the Tactics timeline continues to suck a whole bunch, hands up everyone who's surprised...
I'm surprised that Fanatic is coming so soon. I predict that the episode will be wildly divisive 're : the existence of the being she worships and whether or not she truly is it's messenger
There is definately going to be some, as Christopher usually puts it on the letters page, "Oppinions" on the Fanatic episode. I've sent in so many questions about Fanatic I can't even remember what I asked.
Where is my 9 point PDF on "How to make Haka" I was really hoping to replicate it? I looked all over the source code and didn't find it. You have very nice code. I have to work with spaghetti code that is generated by the computer.
I am waiting for my Future self, who will figure out time travel, so I can start the processes. I am going to keep bugging you about this topic. Nothing like a passionate conversation about Chrono energy and time paradoxes to start the day.
I love how much Maria Helena is Paradox immune. I want to know what the backlashes you keep warning about.
Side note; Does La Comodora's La Paradoja Magnifica, who is CON, reconize Chrono Ranger?
The ship isn't CON but the Concorda, as she calls it, is an alternate reality CON instead called HELM. Since it's not the same CON I don't see why it would recognize Chrono-Ranger. What I'd like to know in regards to Chrono-Ranger is why the Chronoist has to rescue him instead of La Comodora who he had been working with.
I believe Concorda is from an alternative universe , this CON chose OF as it's agent , so no recognition involved
I think it's hard for someone with timetravel powers to locate someone 'locked out of time'. And even if the chronoist had ported in at the last possible moment to take LC out of her ship, the two are still SO connected by all that's happened and all the time-stuff that it doesn't matter where she was when it happened. Her ship is gone, so she is gone.
Neither La Comodora nor Chrono-Ranger were locked out of time at that point. He was stuck in Pompeii before the volcano exploded due to helping her.
They mention a lot that LC doesn't have very fine control over her powers .Getting to let's say exactly 4 o clock on the 24 August 79 May have been too hard
She fixed his gear and that should give her some sort of link to him. I think it still warrants more of an explanation
That's fair, but I don't thinks it's much of an issue, LC could have told Chronoist to rescue DR because she doesn't what to be too close to herself or perhaps was busy doing something else at the time
When Biomancer didn't immediately follow the Scholar, I felt for sure they were saving him for the Halloween episode. But no, we get Wager Master--who, to be fair, is probably the most terrifying villain of all.
CON is turning out to be much more interesting that we suspected. Now we know that Biomancer is responsible for his turning "evil" temporarily. We know that CON deliberately aligned the time badge to absorb the energy of Chrono's successful bounties, effectively forcing him to obey as instructed or be stuck. And we also know that CON's ability to move Chrono within his own timestream is a result of OblivAeon somehow. I hope we get all of this explained at some point.
You are right that it is a different CON, but still, a CON that worked with a Chrono Ranger. Unless it is a vastly different CR There is a chance that HELM would Recognize our CR and a Jim.
Of Course, all of CON's memories and personality could be wiped when Maria Helena Transformed it to HELM. So I guess I am asking Does HELM have any of CON's memories or personality.
I also have questions on the Chronoist. But I doubt we will get an answer till much later. With the Schedule getting pushed back and all.

Who is OF. I didn’t get to relisten to the podcast again and write stuff down.
Oops autocorrect I meant to write LC who is La Commodora .I was trying to say that HELM chose our Maria Helena as it's agent instead of a chronoranger
I had no idea/forgot this episode was coming, so I ended up taking an impromptu and unplanned walk this evening! Thanks for helping keep me in shape, Christopher and Adam!
Gotta say, I love the use of Miss Info's theme and the victory music instead of the usual musical cues. :D Those help this new Editor's Note thing stand apart from regular episodes. And on that note, definitely less exciting than an episode, but still fascinating and worth listening to.
If nothing else, I'm most pleased that they talked about their actual creation process some. That seems to be the one aspect of Sentinels Comics that isn't touched on often, and I can understand why, but seeing how Writhe started as basically "this shadow villain Tachyon punched once" is a great peek under the curtain.
I'm now assuming that the wacky spaceman on Blackout and Tactics Wrest the Mind is another one of Adam's old characters that just hasn't been given a role yet. Getting late now, though. Maybe he's Tim Cosing, the 10th Scion? We know some of the scions survive Oblivaeon, since Omnitron is still around (albeit in a different form).
This has been posted in the forums several times over the years but it seems appropriate to do ti again, here are links to 2 Deviant Art accounts Adam has used with older art on it.

Random thoughts:
Huh, Adam is actually a few years younger than me. I'd always felt like he and Christopher were a few years older somehow.
Adam has excellent tastes in fandoms. (ReBoot, whoo!)
I like how Writhe started out as some weird sort of Rorschach-like creepy noir person fighting spy squirrels.
Wow, Adam's "Snow Girl" really looks like a progenitor of Expatriette...
And how did Maiden Hell never make it to Sentinels? Awesome character design!
Also, I'd pay for that sketch of The Question. :D
Wow, it is amazing how Old his ideas are. Stingray vs the Fly, and Risk vsFrightrain. Nice to see where you been and how things evolved.
This was a great episode with a lot of cool things, but all of it is overshadowed by the next month line-up
Fanatic, Apostate, Scholar and Wager Master... I don't know what I'm going to do with myself, I this Tuesday is going to be AMAZING.
The course now is obviously to ask Adam all sorts of questions about his old art and see how much he groans. :B
I always feel a bit sad when Adam complains about his old art.
He has definitely gotten better in quality, but his composition skills and the personality of his art has always been top-notch. And for me those are what I look for most in artwork; there's far too much art which is pretty from a technical standpoint but is really flat and dull from an actual composition standpoint.
(I of course won't say no to having both technical quality AND good composition, but if I had to pick which one I was willing to give on...)
Jeysie you nailed it. I'll take a good story poorly written on beautifully crafted drivel any day. And I'll take Adams old art over a lot of technically better art thwt isn't engaging. I know people who are the opposite though, and yes, both is always better.
But, at the same time, you are always you're own harshest critic and I'm certain Adam is not wrong on any of his critics of his work. He just sees all the flaws every time he looks at his work instead of all the good things he did as well.
Honestly, I think Christopher kind of gets to cheat in this department as compared to Adam. As the "Story guy" to a story that is largely nebulous and ill-defined at times (What exactly did Judge Mental say that pushed IDealist over the edge instead of sealing the break-up of the Sentinels?) almost all the minor details that make or break the type of crtique that Adam is applying to his art is invisible or non-existent.
I'm sure if this were an actual comic book company and we had pages of dialogue to go through, Christopher would be just as likely to bemoan how badly he did five years or more ago as Adam is. Adam just got stuck with the job that required more immediate detailing that can't be easily redone.
I do admit I think there are some heroes with dialogue that sounds odd/stilted on their flavor text (Nightmist and Argent being the two worst sufferers), but I haven't been disappointed with what actual comics we've gotten. (Part of why I'm excited at getting eventual Prime Wardens scenario comics in Tactics.)
But there's a different mindset between appreciating how far you've come and genuinely hating the previous stuff you did when it's not actually that bad. Admittedly Adam has the unenviable position as an artist where his early art is a widespread publication rather than tucked safely away in personal or limited release projects and sketchbooks.
From the perspective of The Letters Page, sure. But he's also the main game designer, so he has to live with those mistakes as well. The core game got to benefit from being revised in the Enhanced Edition (and Adam got to make updates then, too), but there are some… questionable… design decisions that are still with us, and he just has to live with those. For instance, I'm sure he'd make some changes to Rook City if for some reason it ever made sense to revise and reprint it.
Oh yeah of course.
It's just I always see people talking about Adam hating his old art, and I sometimes wonder about Christopher's side of that equation.
Frankly, I've rarely met an artist who liked his current art, let alone one who didn't say he hated his old stuff. It feels natural to me, so I just decided to vent some thoughts about it. I don't disagree that I also like Adam's old art, and there is a point where self-criticism becomes more destructive than useful, but we're just not in a position for that call I think.
