It's Thursday!

This interlude is longer than The Ennead episode!

Get it here

That'll happen when you talk about more than nine villains.

A bit bummed there were quite a few nemeses excluded.  At the least one not listed that I had questions on was Citizen Slash who got no mention in this lengthy episode.

So wait, if the Crackjaw Crew fire-hands lady is named "Blister", then who is "Ember", the source of that card's flavor text?

Maybe they messed up the names or she goes by multiple names?

Nooo, my precious headcanons! D:

I'm bummed they didn't talk about Quetzalcoatl or the Idolater, but if they're that important to those respective heroes' stories, I figure maybe they'll get even more spotlight in those episodes.

Plus, they talked a lot about Cueball and Ammit, who were high on my list. :) Cueball turned out way more interesting than I thought he would!

Uh...

There are 15 pool balls.

They counted the Cueball which he uses for his head?

@mwc146: I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if they either miscounted or certain ones are left out.

@Powerhound2000: If we count the cueball, then the total is 16. They said 12

It would be nice to see a list of all his powers and the associated pool ball.

I thought they said 16 for some reason.  I also would like to know more about the powers about the various pool balls

Dammit Jim, I'm an artist, not a pool shark!

... and yeah, whether it was an error or not, I could see room for an "Ember" to pull a choke/point into "Blister", with or without a retcon. :)

Now I'm hoping it's a running gag that Guise points this out and asks about it every time they face off, and Cueball just keeps getting angrier about it.

One thing I'd like to know is where I can find that NPR interview with Christopher. My google is weak! D:

Christopher tweeted it a few days ago:

I haven't listened to it yet.

I had a gut feeling Tantrum wasn't really a child. I kind of hoped she would be (I have a desire to see a redeemed child villain in the RPG) but I suspected she fell into the trope of "looks like a kid but is actually a full grown adult)

The Gothic look probably doesn't help her any in convincing people she's actually fully grown.

I'm so happy my question made it's way into the podcast! I've been more and more curious about Man-Grove recently, so it's cool to get some answers on 'The Grove that walks like a Man!' And it's neat that Adam agrees with me on the Plague Rat vs Man-Grove fight!

Strangely enough I think Man-Grove is one of the few characters who has it better in the Tactics timeline compared to the RPG?

Stands to reason, they are musicians.

The 8 is probably the best one right?

I imagine he pulls out the power of the 8 ball when things get most dire for him, but it turns out to be utterly underwhelming.

There's no eight ball, only an infinity ball.

It would be kind of hilarious if the only power the 8-ball has is to cause Cueball's suit to overload and shut down. But that would still leave 14 powers, not 12, so...

We could brainstorm which other pool balls have totally useless powers?

The beach ball for sure. I mean, I've seen them at the pool before.
