Lots of good answers in here today, with many questions coming up as I listened that were then answered later, huzzahs for my psychic-past-question-asking-powers!

Although the real question is who was that coughing at 10:15?

So K.N.Y.F.E both dies and does not die in the wagner mars base explosion and in Tactics there is a Paige Huntley who is both K.N.Y.F.E. and not K.N.Y.F.E.

So, we know there's a new Ra.  Who's the new KNYFE?  Have we seen her before?

 Progeny's head in the video game doesn't look anything like what Adam described.  It's just his head with tentacles.  It's kind of goofy.

They said the new KNYFE (in Tactics) is the Paige Huntley who's native to the main timeline.  We haven't met her before.  Makes me wonder what happened to that KNYFE in the RPG timeline.

Huh. Do we think there are 2 Paige Huntley's running around the RPG timeline, one on Earth and one off in space? They're unlikely to have a The Comedy of Errors type comic but I'm sure there would be some hilarity as Earth Paige is mistaken for her "twin".

Yeah, this episode raised more questions than answers for me. What WAS this reality’s Paige Huntley doing during the events of the card game, Christopher??!?

Which hero goes flying around doing space stuff with Huntley in the RPG timeline? What kinds of “space stuff” is she doing, and what’s her motivation?

I want to all lots of questions about the fight between K.N.Y.F.E. and the K.N.Y.F.E.s on Mars, too. They must have had some fascinating interactions. And how did OblivAeon recruit the K.N.Y.F.E.s, anyway? Does he have some connection to F.I.L.T.E.R.?

I would not have thought of these questions until after hearing the episode. I sense a clean-up interlude in the future…

As though I need more reason to want the RPG to be released...now I'm curious what she's up to out in space and who she's having adventures with :/

I like how K.N.Y.F.E. is literally a one-woman army.

Also, did I miss something, or did Christopher and Adam fail to make a single joke about K.N.Y.F.E.-fights?  

There should totally be a F.I.L.T.E.R. agent called G.U.N.!

After learning of KNYFE's previously-unknown potential, they hunted down and recruited her grandfather, brainiwashing him to specifically hunt down KNYFE and code-naming him the Geriatric Ultimate Nonconformist Neutralizer (G.U.N.N.).

So many questions... Who is the other character from Clan Duncan?

I think the implication was that Adam is part of Clan Duncan.

Pretty sure they said Clan Gordon.

Huntly is a Gordon name.

Regardless, the implication would be that it's Citizen Hammer.

I was a little bummed that they didn't read the rest of my question, as I think it directly pertains to a thing we were not told:

Which F.I.L.T.E.R.s have access to the Block?

IF there is only one Block, then there is only one Paige Huntley that is embued with energy powers and turned into K.N.Y.F.E. during the Choke event. (assuming all of them weren't there and transformed simultaneously?) IF only one reality's F.I.L.T.E.R. has access to The Block, are all of the other K.N.Y.F.E.s recruited by earth-bound F.I.L.T.E.R.s that just monitor extraterrestrial threats and handle them in-house?

All of it basically boils down to: How/do the other Paige Huntleys get energy powers, becoming K.N.Y.F.E.s in their own right, and are there dopplegangers in The Block of people from all realities that have a F.I.L.T.E.R.?

I like to imagine OBV sees K.N.Y.F.E. take down Progeny, and then goes and recruits all of the other reality's Paige Huntleys, telling them that they were meant for more, giving them powers, and then setting them all on WMB. That would be a pretty enticing offer for any Paige Huntleys that felt something lacking after leaving the military...

It almost seems like Paige Huntly much like Vanessa Long always develops powers as I doubt OblivAeon would just gather up only military trained Huntlys from other Multiverses if they didn't have powers.  

Could just be a question for the FILTER episode!

Or they are all Paige Huntly's that share the Choke Block event as a common element of thier history.

In otherwords their timelines only split after they became K.N.Y.F.E.

Based on what we got told in the episode that's not the case especially since there is only one Block.  

I understand that there is only one Block, but once K.N.Y.F.E. is sent out of the Block on a mission, is it possible the timeline she is sent to could branch.

If it does, then you have two K.N.Y.F.E.s.

What an interesting question. If many Earths have a government that founds a F.I.L.T.E.R., then apparently only one of those created/took possession of The Block.

I suppose but that would be outside the Block not within the Block as your statement seemed to be at least.   Considering how little we know about the other K.N.Y.F.E.s that are on the Wagner Mars Base it would be a better assumption to me that they aren't all based off the K.N.F.Y.E. we have a hero deck for.  

My favorite thing is when they asked why nobody posted any questions about a thing they just reilved. Did we know that KYNFE came from a different time line before this episode? I want to formal ask what is prime time line KYNFE doing?

Have they meet their question answers to questions raised quota in this episode?

I had hoped when I asked about if she came from a different Multiverse they would have discussed that piece since that was when they revealed and confirmed that.

That's a really good point.  After all, we know for a fact that there are two "real" KNYFEs by the end of OblivAeon, one of which survives the Mars incident and one of which doesn't.  Which means that the 50 other Paige Huntleys that were on Mars were also duplicated…

Maybe if KNYFE goes on a mission, that reality splits, and then both KNYFEs return to The Block at the same time, one of them is just obliterated?  Or they merge somehow and never notice that their memories are a patois of two realities' worth of experiences?

What a mess.

I think we are heading towards making it too complicated.   Unless told otherwise I would assume the others on Wagner Mars Base just come from other multiverses and that the KNYFE we know from SotM is the only one ever to work for FILTER.  

Didn’t Christopher describe the other KNYFEs as being ones who drank the FILTER cool-aid?

But they specifically said that the ones on Wagner were KNYFE's who had "drunk the kool aid of FILTER", is there any reason to assume that our FILTER didn't have KNYFEs from multiple verses on staff?

The transmissions she intercepted that led her to the Wagner Mars Base were so personal that if she didn't know better she would have thought that she was sending and receiving them.

Christopher also makes references to these alternate KNYFEs belonging to FILTER.

Time marker: 29:32
Christopher:  She intercepts some transmissions on her earpiece that are really wierd because they are coded,
but in a code that she knows just innately.  They are transmissions that seem like they are coming from her and going to her,
but neither of those things are possible.
Adam:  A bunch of stuff that only she would understand.

And jumpting ahead to 30:45
Christopher:  And it's all the versions of herself that essentially drank the F.I.L.T.E.R. coolaid.

What this makes me think more of is that her time in the tube would more lead to clones being made not a bunch of diverging KNYFEs from the same timeline. 

It would also seem odd to me that if they pulled all these Paige Huntly's from the various points where it diverged that she would never be aware of it until that point.    It would be even more weird that they would send Sergeant Steel to collect her if they already had an army of them who had bought into the FILTER line of thinking since she wouldn't be that special anymore beyond possibly making clones.  Also, why would FILTER want to help OblivAeon as it would mean their own destruction ulitmately as well?

I'm not saying that the alternate timeline versions is correct.  I was merely putting it forward as a possibility.  So I won't have good answers to all of your points, but here goes.

1) FILTER might have dealt with this one agent goes out, timeline splits, two agents come back issue before.  If they have I can see them trying to keep it secret from the field agents.

Alternately, the first split could have happened one KNYFE's last mission for FILTER when she was to collect Tempest.

In one reality KNYFE leaves FILTER and in another she captures Tempest and returns to FILTER.

And FILTER might not have been aware that she was now rogue.

2) It doesn't seem odd at all to me that they would send Sgt Steel after her even if they had a bunch more copies of her.  Secret organizations dislike rogue agents.

3) I have no idea why FILTER would be in league with OblivAeon.  I sent in a question about that for the FILTER episode.

And again, the clone theory seems equally likely to me.

Clones imply they are all the same. 

Alternate realities could result in a wide variety of different versions of her, maybe even versions that have different powers / abilities. 

Though they're all similar enough that the coded transmissions KNYFE receives are instantly recognizable as her.

It seems like KNYFE's episode has raised more questions than it answered. Now I'm really looking forward to the FILTER ep! :D

I feel we might be even more deep in questions by the end of that.  

Woah, how crazy awesome would it have been if instead of the character Sergeant Steel, we had K.N.Y.F.E.: Agent of F.I.L.T.E.R.??!

Just because there's only one Block doesn't mean that there isn't multiple F.I.L.T.E.R.s. There could be one for each different universe, it just so happens only one has access to a time/space hopping prision.(Not sure if Adam and Christopher have already disproved this, but if they have I'm sure someone here will point it out.)

So in the current Interlude episode http://theletterspage.libsyn.com/interlude-6-maintenance-mode they answer how there are KNYFEs.   Apparently after FILTER sees what happens with the Paige Huntly gaining powers they start collecting Paige Huntly from other Multiverses and try to create more KNYFEs.   This has a wide range of affects on those they collected and this group of them that FILTER collected is what the main SotM KNYFE faces at Wagner Mars Base.
