Sigh my questions weren't answered at all.   I was really hoping to find out more about his backstory and what Pike thought about what happened with his accident.

So Tachyon spent time inventing ... a Jukebox? SUPER SCIENCE!

As a note:

The Tactics Art that was being referenced at the end is Tachyon's Hypersonic Assault.

I never paid much attention to that card until this episode. "Cool" to know who that character is now.

Edit: Match beat me too it. Opps!

Yeah, but you made a pun. It's snow joke for me to admit that you beat me his time.

I missed my chance to ask the question of Christopher and Adam, "What do you think is the worst ice/cold/snow pun that made it onto a card, in your opinion?", but they didn't disappoint with the puns in this episode.

Or maybe I did ask and they gave me the cold shoulder. ;)

I'm a fan of Adam's old timey radio voice.   I wonder if we could get an Interlude episode where he talks in that voice the whole time.

I do wonder why the F6 Absolute Zero wasn't discussed at all.  I'm curious what his ultimate fate was in that timeline.   Doesn't seem pleasant much like the others.

@Powerhound2000: I'm reminded of when someone over on Reddit said they thought they imagined Grandpa Legacy having an old-timey radio announcer type voice. Clearly we need Adam to voice Grandpa Legacy.

I now like Absolute Zero even more after listening to this because he basically seems kinda like me without the geekiness: Pessimistic, snarky/cynical, beat on/up a lot, questioning their purpose in life, being lonely but having trouble interacting with people, big music aficionado (though I admit I'm more into folk music than R&B).

Seems like AZ is the Sentinels Music History/Culture major to Argent's Music Theory/Performance person. I wasn't expecting that, but I dig it.

We have had Christopher talk about F6 AbZero incap art publicly before. His powers grow out of control more-so than they already were, and he is basically trapped in a coffin of his own making.

He dead.

I'd heard it but it still seems odd to omit.

Chill, maybe we'll get a Freedom Six episode.

I was surprised how closely I can identify with Absolute Zero.

I've always said he's one of if not my favorite hero to play. I've got an affinity for ice-powered heroes, and I love being able to damage myself to heal. But that line, "Everything's always been terrible"? That's something I say all the time. And what follows it, what he says, that's pretty inspiring. I'm gonna have to remember it the next time I'm feeling unmotivated.

Gonna read the rest of the comments after I finish listening to the episode. Just dropped in to say:

Cool party.

(Now AZ has an Arnold voice in my head)

I suspect he's not dead, given what we learned about him in this podcast.

Yeah, Christopher never said he was dead, just that "his powers are making sure he never gets hurt again." (paraphrasing)

Pretty sure we heard all we needed to for F6 AZ, and since apparently no-one asked them to talk about it, they didn't.

Moral of the story: If we wanna hear about a certain topic durring an episode, we gotta ask.

If that ever does happen, he needs to talk through a tolet paper/paper towel tube to make it sound official.

Not always true.  I've had questions for this episode and others that did not get answered.

Much more than that, she invented a way to transmit audio from a record player to his cryo chamber without interfering with the sound quality.

For people who understand the difference in audio quality, and how easy it is to mess with that, esp. when you consider there are fans involved. . . Tachyon pulled off something remarkable there.

It's pretty cool to learn that Absolute Zero's body doesn't just have cold powers or isn't just really cold itself - it's like he's in suspended animation, but still conscious and able to move. Creepy/awesome, I guess. That's not an idea I've seen before.

I like that Ryan Frost appears mostly in the F5 team comics, and he has an interesting role to play there. It's kind of fun to think of him in his cryo chamber, heckling Tachyon while she works to start the exposition.
