Lost Letters Page Interlude!

Hey, folks!

I'm getting ready to leave town for a few days, but I wanted to let you know: there's not an Interlude coming this Thursday. There was supposed to be! We recorded one, and it was really great! However, the files got corrupted in the saving process, and we're unable to recover them. I just recorded a quick note that will go at the start of the NightMist episode about it, and we'll re-record the story Interlude stuff and post that in the next couple weeks. But, I wanted to let you know that the promised Interlude is NOT coming this Thursday, but it will come later.

Sorry about that! I'm glad we made it this far without technical issues, and I hope this is the worst thing that happens to The Letters Page this year!

I do recommend that you post this message (or something similar) on the Letters Page itself on Thursday.  As mentioned in today's episode, not everyone who listens hangs out over here, and those who don't may get confused.

I would put up a 30 second podcast on Thursday.

Not so easily done when I'm not here to make that happen. It's just a perfect storm of unfortunate coincidences.

Also, oddly, the interludes get WAY less listeners than the regular episodes. Hundreds fewer. I have no idea why this is. 

Hero episodes get the most listeners. Villain episodes get notably fewer, but still lots. Interludes get far, far fewer.

All of that really surprises me. I rarely listen to podcasts, but when I do, I don't just randomly skip episodes. Even if they're shorter.

Yeah, skipping is… different. I listen to everything I'm subscribed to. I'll only skip if the specific topic is actually uninteresting, which doesn't happen often – I've culled my podcast list to the point I'm generally interested in everything I'm listening to.

Sure! I recorded a quick bit last night that Trevor is going to put somewhere in next week's NightMist episode, but I'll happily share the upcoming episodes here as well:

• April 4th: NightMist (already recorded)
• April 11th: GloomWeaver
• April 18th: Tachyon
• April 25th: Lillian Corvus (The Matriarch/The Harpy/Pinion)
• May 2nd: Absolute Zero

Now, the above dates are when those episodes go live. We'll be recording each of the episodes on the Friday before that date, so make sure you get your questions in 5+ days before the air date if you want us to consider it for the episode!

If I have missed an interludes page, it's because I didn't realise it was there.  I usually listen off of the letters page itself.  I'll have to see how many interludes I've missed!

Should be a nice next couple weeks worth of listening. Nightmist and Gloomy are reletivley mysterious, so shedding some light on them should reveal some cool stuff. I know I want to hear more about the actual development/production of the characters, since from what I know they were part of a colab with the guy who made the Arkham Horror games, right?

And it looks like we are gonna finish up the Freedom Five soon! Will we get a FV specific episode soon?

Awesome, I was wondering when AZ was coming in! I have to try and get some good questions whipped up for him. At least I have a month to do so. :)

YOu haven't really missed too many, I think there's only been two so far...

If you're still around Christopher, will the Gloomweaver episode include the background and talks about the Cult of Gloom? I have quite a bit of questions specifically about the Cult and its members specifically and wondering if this episode is the appropriate place for them

You could just ask them, and they'll go into the queue for whenever they're appropriate. 

Oh good, I've been dying for a Tachyon episode since this started. :D

So, no Audio Christmas this year? I bet Adam's going to be really sad to hear that news... :(
