Which heroes do you think are the strongest? Which are the weakest?
I tried to rank them, and break them into rough tiers, and I ended up with this:
Tier 1: the bricks
Legacy
Haka
Sky-Scraper (in giant form)
Young Legacy [Edit: adjusted per Chaosmancer's comment]
Mainstay
Tier 2: superhuman strength
K.N.Y.F.E. (power suit) [Edit: adjusted per Chaosmancer's comment]
Bunker (walking tank)
Setback (has augmented physical abilities)
Fanatic (can drop massive weights from the sky) [Edit: adjusted per Chaosmancer's comment]
Naturalist (as strong as a big animal, at least) [Edit: adjusted after reading Trajector's comment]
Tempest (if he can swim at deep pressure, must be pretty strong)
Tier 3: augmented strength
Ra (is a god; probably has some level of super strength) [Edit: adjusted per Chaosmancer's comment]
Absolute Zero (robot suit)
Guise (can be pretty strong when he thinks its funny)
Sky-Scraper (in normal orm) (I'm assuming that Thorians are stronger than humans, since that's a common comic book trope)
Omnitron-X (robot; also, has rocket hands) [Edit: adjusted after reading Powerhound 2000's comment]
Chrono-Ranger (robot arm)
Tier 4: The athletes
Expatriette (superb athlete)
Mr. Fixer (physical training, but getting old)
Wraith (vigilante)
Parse (strong enough to shoot that bow, at least)
Tier 5: average-ish human strength
Scholar (does his metal body make him super strong, or just super tough?) [Edit: adjusted per Chaosmancer's comment]
Writhe (shadow being? not sure how that maps to muscle power)
Dr. Medico (flying energy being? not sure how that maps to muscle power)
Naturalist (in human form)
Argent Adept (some of those instruments look heavy)
Tachyon
Captain Cosmic
Nightmist
Visionary
Unity (teenager) [Edit: adjusted after reading Powerhound 2000's comment]
Tier 6: Less strong than the average person
Idealist (a kid)
Sky-Scraper (in tiny form)
What do you guys think?
(I expect to be told that I'm way off on some of these, and how) ;-)

Guise should be Tier 1 or Tier 2 as he can mimic the strength of those other heroes when he feels like it. And have you seen how buff he is on Guise the Barbarian?
I think Unity should be at average strength. She's old enough to be an intern for Tachyon she should be at normal strength.
I'm not sure Omnitron-X is all that strong. His cards don't seem to indicate his frame is built for being that strong. Durable sure but I'm not sure it's on the same level as his older bigger versions.

Do you mean as hero decks, or as comic book characters?
There are innumerable threads around the forums on the former, but I can’t actually recall a discussion on the latter.

I always thought Omnitron-X was pretty wimpy. He does energy blasts rather than using physical strength. I don't picture him holding up a Hallway Collapse.
I'd also put the Naturalist higher up - he can be a rhinocerous!

It would be highly entertaining to have something like the Marvel Power Grid (from the Marvel Database) for SotM characters on the wiki.
Actually, with the RPG coming, we might be able to construct that from the character stats we'll get! Very shiny!!!

I mean as comic book characters. Just raw physical strength.
I don't want to open the can of worms of "which deck is better" :-)

Guise is hard to pin down in general, since he's one of those "his powers are so poorly defined as to be practically limitless" type heros.
I'm not sure if he's actually that strong, or just good at puffing himself up with fake muscles. Or maybe he's a perfect power mimic, and could match Legacy's strength pound for pound. I just don't know…
Fair enough. I adjusted the list.
Fair enough. I still think he's stronger than the average human (also, he has rocket hands!), but probably not MUCH stronger. He's not a terminator.
That's fair. I think the "could this character wrestle a Rhino?" question is a good over-under when ranking around Naturalist.
And that's assuming he's limited to those three shapes. If those three shapes are just a game play constraint, and he can actually turn into any animal he wants, then he could be as strong as an elephant.

Doctor Medico weighs 7 ounces, per his bio. He's clearly strong enough to be a functional medical doctor, but I'm guessing he's not an orthopedic surgeon or picking up anything much heavier than a scalpel.

Judging from the art, his medical doctoring seems more akin to the Lay on Hands ability than prescribing medicine and performing surgery.

He took it seriously when they told him, "Be the positive energy you want to see in the world!"

I think I would drop Ra down to tier 3 or 4, he is a "God" but he is a god who focuses on fire and magic more than brawling.
Looking at his Horus Incap or his foil incap shows the Ennead tied him to a thick wooden beam with chains, and that is supposed to be enough to keep him restrained. I understand he's beaten up, but if he had the level of strength comparable to a walking tank, wood and chains wouldn't slow him down.
Also, the Legacies v Haka question is a little complex. Iron Legacy I think can be said to be stronger than normal Legacy, and Haka is surprised that Paul didn't even flinch when he punched him in Iron Legacy's deck. Meaning, Legacy might be actually capable of being stronger, but generally he has too much restraint to reach those levels of strength.
Pauline though, is still young, and my guess would be that she is actually probably the weakest of the Tier 1's. Legacy being as buff as he is makes me believe that they have enhanced muscles, not "super strength" meaning that his daughter's much more slim figure (which fills out when she becomes Beacon as she is signifigantly more muscular then) would indicate that she is that much weaker than he is. If I had to guess, she could get slapped around by Sky-Scraper... whose main advantage is probably just better leverage than most of her competition in that tier.
I'm curious where we see Fanatic dropping massive weights from the sky (are we simply refering to her card... whose name escapes me) but I would probably rank her lower and KYFE higher. Fanatic is strong, but I doubt she would be able to lift the Bunker suit for example, while KNYFE is shown having a fist fight with Progeny, and with her enhanced suit, is probably surprisingly strong.
Scholar I would drop, because I believe his Iron form just makes him tough, not particularly strong. Punching someone is also probably not something he often does, so I have no problem regulating him to teir 4 or 5

That's a good point, I hadn't considered the image of him tied to a wooden beam. I still think he'd have supernatural strength, but it might be weaker supernatural strength.
That's a good point with young legacy. Her original card art had her lifting a school bus one handed and without any sign of strain, but I could beleive she's weaker than Legacy.
Haka is harder for me to figure, but I'm settling on: not as strong as Legacy, and certainly less strong than Iron Legacy
The main signs of Fanatic's strength is that her armor and sword weigh over 100 lbs (I forget where that's mentioned; I saw it referenced on tvtropes), and she has a card (Final Dive) where she can drop anything with 4 hp or less from the sky - and there's some pretty heavy things with 4 hp. Still, none of her cards show her doing major feats of strength like lifting a car or knocking down a wall.
If the iron form also makes him heavy, then he'd be strong enough to move himself around. Still, it doesn't sound like he has Colossus' power. Maybe he's more like that guy in Legion of Superheroes that turns into a statue.

It seems like Parse gets a strength upgrade after OblivAeon's arrival:
Although I'd hazard a guess that Fugue State Parse isn't actually stronger than she was before - she's just able to manipulate her body to draw out her strength to its fullest. But that's still superhuman, I'd say, and worth bumping her up a tier or two.

I think Parse is actually hacking reality to get those speeds. She learns to program the universe.

Ah, that would be from her bios (saw it in the app) where they list her weight, and then her wieght with the armor.
Original 190 lbs (290 lbs in armor)
Redeemer uses same numbers (even though signifigantly more armor)
Prime Wardens 190 lbs (250 lbs in armor)
It does state that for Prime Wardens she is wearing "armor that allowed greater mobility and freedom of movement", so it is fair to assume that the 100 lbs did wiegh her down some and reducing it to 60 lbs helped. And I know military units train with at least 80 lbs of gear, so that alone wouldn't put her above human limits (especially since plate armor tends to be well distributed weight wise)
That leaves Final Dive, which is problematic. It allows her to throw Orbo, which is at least meteor sized if not planetoid sized which I will say is clearly beyond her actual abilities. With divine power I wouldn't say she isn't stronger than the average person, but I doubt she typically picks up cars and chucks them at people… I could see her breaking a statue and tossing it, but I would definetly rank her lower, as game mechanics I don't think translate well into the reality of the story.
Also, interesting thing I just saw Sanctifying strike is one of the few times we see Fanatics back, and there is no armor there. It seems her breastplate is literally that, and she has no armor on her lower torso in her original design. I think clearly Redeemer changes that, but it is an interesting detail that leads to some cool symbolism

This comment might help you:
So actual physical strength for Ra doesn’t seem to be at a premium, and that’s definitely superhuman strength for Fanatic.
