So miss information back story was she was killed then brought back to life. So did we ever figure out the event that killed her in the first place? If not what some events that could have been it.
So miss information back story was she was killed then brought back to life. So did we ever figure out the event that killed her in the first place? If not what some events that could have been it.
In her Villains of the Multiverse deck, we see her getting impaled by some sort of pole in the Freedom Tower. It doesn't show who did it though.
It's also a little more complicated than simply being brought back to live. The part of Aminia Twaine we know as Miss Information is an alternate version of herself who fell through the ripples in the timestream when she died and blames her death on the Freedom Five.
So did she replace the old secretary in the main timeline or take over her mind?
It seems like she took over mind or took her place.
My money is on Fright Train during the attack on Freedom Tower.
It makes sense. Considering her death was in Freedom Tower while the heroes were otherwise occupied saving "strangers". Probably Baron Blade causing havok and keeping their attention harming civilians. In the Freedom Tower card "Entry Point" Fright Train is smashing through a flat wall that kinda resembles the Miss Information card room (if the power was out and there was a tone change).
I could believe that Fright Train burst through the wall during the (lo)commotion (heh, puns) and either intentionally or unintentionally knocks Aminia Twain off the building to her death. The effects of Time Cataclysm still prevelant and Tachyon's research lab spewing all kinds of Multiverse research everywhere fused the two timeline versions of her.
With Freedom Tower and the timing of the attack, Miss Information was born from Vengeance. And that is what she now seeks.

I like your theory about Fright Train. Have you checked the timing of the relevant comic issues? But on this point:
I think that it's clear from what we know now that the fusing of the two versions of Aminia Twain was not some sort of accident, but was OblivAeon trying to undermine the heroes of the main-timeline Earth, who were interfering with his master plan.

Well the V5 decks only reference issues in Vengeance, Exordium, Vengeful Five one-shot, The Trial of Baron Blade, and Freedom Five Annual #27. However, in Parse's deck we have the original defeat of Miss Information in Freedom Five #21 on the card Data-Mining.
