Gender/sexuality nonconforming heroes and villains?

As someone who hasn't been able to plow through all the reading material that exists in Sentinels world, I haven't the broad base of knowledge to answer this question for myself.  Are there heroes in the SOTM world, either villains or heroes, with gender or sexuality that falls outside of societal norms?  Is Visionary asexual?  Is the wraith a lesbian with a secret, doomed crush on the Ermine?  Is it reciprocated?  Technically I suppose Omnitron X can be considered agendered if it so desires, but are there others who may be gender fluid etc.  Thoughts, speculations, proof?  I'm very curious.

PS, a lesbian young Legacy would be fuel for some of my own romantic fantasies :P  I bet she gives killer backrubs.

Tachyon's married to her wife and Dr. Medico has a boyfriend.  I think those are the only ones we know about.

Isn't Haka asexual? And Tempest isn't officially referred to with a gender, even though we all refer to "him" as male.

I think the extent of our knowledge on non-straight characters are Tachyon and Medico. Omnitron-X and Tempest are genderless, but I don’t know if they have a preferred pronoun.

Wraith has a tragic backstory involving a boyfriend so we know that she’s attracted to men at least. Finest Legacy has a wife, Absolute Zero had a fiancee (is that the feminine? He was dating a woman, either way), and Expatriette has been strongly implied to be romantically involved with Setback.

Beyond that? I’m not sure. Nothing is preventing any of these characters from being sexually attracted to more than just the opposite sex, but this is what we’ve heard so far.

If he is, that's the first I've heard of it.

He likes Abba, is a substitute teacher, loves kids, only hulks out when people are in danger, and sings at funerals of loved ones. As far as what “hakas his battles,” so to speak, we are not sure.

I personally ship Ardent Adept with Lillian, if only so that I can make "Kvothe the Raven" jokes.

Progeny is almost certainly genderless, and I suspect that Akash'bhuta might be as well, for all that she'd personified as female (Mother Earth and all that).  Wager Master could also be genderless.

Citizen Dawn has a daughter, so I think it's likely that she likes men at least.

Dawn also had a husband, then killed him. I think it can go either way.

The Deputy and The Broker use the likenesses of a male/female married couple IRL, but I don’t think that counts!

EDIT: Now that I think of it some of the artwork of The Chairman and The Operative seem to indicate some sexual tension. No proof on that. Just a thought!

Because it's not true!

Christopher has said he has burried lovers in the past (here), no gender was applied to those and it's possible that he has forsworn love as he outlives everyone but as he "finds joy in life" I doubt it.

Haka might be one of my favorite heroes now, as far as how interesting their chracters are. That's DEEP.

With as long as he's been alive, Haka has probably experimented.

Generally speaking - I don't think we know much about the villian's sexualities. I think everything we do know is useful for developing a hero's backstory.

As far as promos go we can safely assume Greatest Legacy is attracted to women and Kvothe is firmly established as straight in The Kingkiller Chronicles.

All versions of Omnitron, including Omnitron-X, consistently use the pronoun "it" in their bios. I think we can assume that "it" is Omnitron's preferred pronoun.

The Tempest bio, on the other hand, carefully avoids any pronouns. 

As far as villains go, safe to assume Iron Legacy prefers women.

And The Dreamer is too young to have a fully developed sexuality.

Not fully developed, but many six-year-olds are aware of their preferences and are clearly identifying with a particular gender by that age.

And I would suspect that she would have similar preferences to the Visionary.

I was referring more to sexual preference, but that is a fair observation.

So was I. Not necessarily in terms of sexual activity (although some sexual activity such as genital touching, "playing doctor" and masturbation is common and normal), but in terms of knowing what "flavour" of partner they'd like to have in the future.

There's a lot of truth in the trope of the teenager who finally plucks up the courage to come out to their family after years of angst and gets the response, "We've known for years."

I talked with Christopher and Adam about the theories that the regular Argent Adept was gay. They both agreed that they see him as being more Asexual.
