Showing Lillian hanging out with Dark Watch, coupled with the fact that she's sporting their team colors, and accepting that thematically she fits right in, would anyone be willing to jump off a bridge with me to the conclusion that Lillain becomes a fifth member of Dark Watch?
The theory I've been seeing is that she replaces Nightmist whom is gone.
Or she replaces the loss of Nightmist. . .
Why would NightMist leave the team? I figure they didn't want to clutter the box front with too many characters. I can't really see NightMist ditching her team and getting replaced.
I don't think she ditched the team. I think she may be permanent mist if I had to take a guess.
I've had a suspicion that a hero die in the arc of the final expansion of SotM, but I sincerely hope it isn't NightMist. I'd really like her to still be around. If not for myself, for my friend who mains NightMist. Plus, I'd really like to be able to pit Dark Watch against the other hero teams in a fair 5v5 match, and if NightMist is gone, that just won't happen. So I'm holding onto a five-hero team of DW, at least in the Tactics timeline.
My guess is that you'll see Nightmist in tactics the same time as Grand Warlord Voss.
So...what did Setback do to convince everyone to wear his colors?

The Miststorm dude. That is all thats left of Nightmist.
Is there strong evidence toward that? Or is that still a speculation thing? I'll go check it out in a second.
It still seems to be speculation the mist does act allot like nightmist's mist in art, but we dont know where it came from.
I believe that it’s still speculation, but she has a tendency to get trapped in alternate dimensions, judging by her two incaps in SotM. So I’m in to the idea of her being trapped in the mists or in discord with Voss waiting to make their triumphant return.
Besides that it is a massive and powerful ominous white mist that looks like Nightmist's mist and is called Miststorm? Total speculation. Nightmist does have trouble reforming though during the battle with Progeny (as per flavor text). Something bad happens to her.
She might come back later in Tactics. But will she be the same hero that we once knew? Who knows. I think the Staff of Anubis really messed with her a bit.
I still don't buy into it until it shows more hints towards it. For starters, it is called mist storm, not MistStorm.
