They do it again! Huge surprise. Tactics will be coming to use a few months ahead of the initial estimated ship date. Freakin unheard of for a large-ish KS project.

How the hell? Maybe its better not to ask!

The scenario books look fantastic! Anyone else see those? Oh man, if they have comic panels inside them before each setup instruction...I'll die.

I'm pretty sure they do. It may be enough to tide me over until Annual #2. Maybe.

Wow, those back cover images are beautiful.

As I’m on my phone I can’t really see the internal comic images too well, can’t wait to get in and have a look on my computer to see them on a larger screen

Excellent. Can you also tell us what city the ship will leave from in China?

I've tried to find information about what routes container ships usually take across the pacific, but have so far failed.

Here we go: http://www.cruiselawnews.com/uploads/image/BUNKERFUELMAP(1).jpg

Looks like cargo ships will pretty much just head straight from port to port across the pacific. I'd thought there might be some affects of weather or currents that would make it more valuable to head on non-straight routes.

Bunker Fuel Map eh. . .

Maybe planning covert actions against this vessel isn't the best option.

If it was the card game I might risk it, but Tactics Bunker?  I'm out.

Our shipments usually leave from the Shanghai port. But "will leave from"? It has already left!

It's one container of stuff going to LA, right? How does this affect international shipping? Are you sending some to be shipped from the EU?

When is the launch party?

AR

I'm fairly certain they've answered this – some games are going to get shipped from the US to the EU en masse, and then shipped from that one point in the EU to other places, presumably forestalling individuals from having to pay fees. I don't recall if that includes the UK or not.

SI

Well that was the original plan. I don't know if the new one-container-ships-early plan has changed that at all, since all we've heard is that games are en route to LA. Nothing's been mentioned about games on their way to the EU.

Shipping to the EU is addressed in the comments of the linked Kickstarter post:

The contents of that one early container cover every Kickstarter backer, regardless of where they live in the world. As soon as it arrives at our warehouse, Jodie begins stacking the boxes into pallets so she can forklift them around. Paul and I grab armfuls of boxes right away and begin packing them (we're already creating empty boxes for shipping, organizing invoices, putting art prints into easily boxable envelopes, and arranging the shipping area for maximum efficiency). While Jodie finishes unloading the cargo container, Paul and I pack up all of the domestic shipments, piling them on pallets for FedEx to come pick up once everything is done. Then, we pack up pallets of games to be shipped overseas, most via the "ship an entire pallet to another country, where they break it down and ship it out to individuals" method.

This entire process will most likely take place over several days and nights, and probably over a weekend. Once EVERYTHING listed above is packed, it will all get shipped out simultaneously. So, yes, people in the US will get their boxes first, only because their boxes have a shorter distance to travel.

Then, we pass out.

I didn't see anyway thing about the launch party above.

Since the cargo container is going to arrive either a couple weeks before Gen Con, or immediately before Gen Con, or during Gen Con, or between Gen Con and PAX Prime, or during PAX Prime, or immediately after PAX Prime, and all of those times are already insanity for us, we're not planning on doing a launch party for this game. Which is sad! But, unfortunately necessary.

So with the update this morning I rewatched the gameplay videos. In them he mentions that Visionary can't go back to her time because of the final expansion. Or at least implies such. So whoever is in the final expansion has a great influence over the Time Cataclysm.

Not wholely relevant, but the reason I discovered this was the new shipping update

Absolutely. My money is on The Host. Can't decide whether I think it/they want to compress all the timelines into one terrible timeline or if it/they are compressing all the timelines into one to be able to devour/destroy them more easily. Drawings on the wall of Time Crazed Prisoner kinda show what I'm talking about.

Quick Humble-Knight write up an ongoing card that says:

Humble-Knight must immediately tell everything he knows about the Multiverse to the forumites.

And post a video of you putting it on a table.

We'll explain later.
