Mechanical Baron Blade?

I was just looking at the art for Inspiring Supertonic again. It shows Mr. Fixer punching a figure that looks like Baron Blade (with a green energy ball from Argent Adept's power), but the Baron Blade appears to be a mechanical golem:

• BB's head is coming off, which sounds fatal, but we know (eg from the Tactics Kickstarter) that BB continues around.
• There appear to be some wires dangling from the head, and other metal bits.

Any thoughts on what's going on? The flavor text is from "Burying the Blade #5".

Hmm, maybe the Tactics BB is actually a golem himself! The Kickstarter update says that he was left a "drained and broken man", but the image there sure doesn't look like it. But note the BB that Mr. Fixer is punching doesn't have the tech gauntlet yet.

Unity still has an unreleased nemesis. Just gonna throw that out there.

Baron Blade is equated to being like Doctor Doom who has plenty of Doombots.  There is some wonder as to how it seems like his scar is missing in Tactics. 

Look at Positive Energy Field in the Realm of Discord, it shows his scar being healed.

I'm not convinced that the Blade we see on Platform Bot isn't a LMD.

Hmmm. Never thought about the possibility of Baron having LMD's, but its certainly within his skill set to have them.

There is a short comic run called "The Trial of Baron Blade" found in the flavor text of Vengeance. IF Baron in fact deploys LMD's, sending one to his own trial would be the perfect time to do so. 

Err, what's an LMD? Have I missed something? I'm guessing something-metal-decoy?

Yes. The flavor text is. But it was confirmed by >G somewhere that this is one of those cases where the Art doesn't match where the flavor text came from.
