First. Curse the individual who came up with the abbreviation for Valentines Day.

Second: Does any one have awesome plans today, and are they Sentinel Related? Such as  Strip SOTM ?

I made my wife Sangria last night, so that is getting prepared, then I'm making Chicken Tacos.

Sadly my plans of getting flowers and chocolate fell through, she missed her bus and took the car.

Still should be a good night.  No Sentinels though, she's supportive of my nerdery but she prefers games like Cards Against Humanity, Dictionary and Scrabble.

Can't wait to test the viability of 2 hero Vengeance, then we could play without anyone having to control 2 heroes, which she really dislikes.

Well, I suppose a penicillin shot is one possibility.

Other than that, no SO in my life. Hoping Vengeance is visited upon me soon.

They've actually re-named today "House of Cards Season 2 Day", so that's what my wife and I will be up to :)

Are you sure it isn't named "Work on Sentinel Tactics All Day Day"?

If that means it will be released to play-testers today, yes, yes it is.

If not… I for one will thank you for your sacrifice.

Actually, tonight is game night.  Jules and I can't really afford to do much for V-day, so we're carrying on with game night as normal.  Likely, it's Sentinels time!

Nick and I went out and got some damn good burgers last night, as eating out tonight is miserable. Tonight, he and I drink beer, help a friend design his RPG system, and playtest my game.

My wife and I are hanging out with my best bud and his boyfriend. His, my bud's, birthday is tomorrow. If Vengence arrives we'll be playing that for sure. Otherwise, we have a Born of the Gods booster box to crack and Carcassonne South Seas to play. Then, we're back to work getting our own Superhero boardgame ready for prototype. It's going to be a busy night.

Me and the girlfriend are grabbing a nice dinner, a slice of cake, then heading back to the apartment to drink wine until we're silly.  We'll probably break out some Android Netrunner if we're not too drunk/randy.

Vengeance just came yesterday, but I haven't had the chance to test it out yet, which is a bummer.  I'd bring it along, but I've only gotten her to play once and while she liked it, I'm not sure she's ready to play two hero decks at once and help me keep track of all the Vengeance craziness.  Next time though, once I'm more experienced with the mechanics.

My girlfriend is 108 miles away, so no Valentine's Day plans here :P

Working, then driving two hours to get home at 1:00 AM. FUN!

Oh dear, I missed Valentine's Day.

And neither of us noticed.

Are you sure it wasn't noticed? I once thought it was funny that we both had missed Valentine's until it was brought to my attention that, in fact, it was only that had missed it.

Well I realised (by reading this forum, incidentally) about 12 minutes after midnight and I really hadn't known what the date was.

I mentioned this to my boyfriend and he responded in a way that leads me to believe that he hadn't realised either.

Not that we ever do anything for Valentine's anyway, so it didn't matter at all.

Valentines day Success!  I tried an alteration on the sangria, and it was a big hit, and the Tacos were awesome.  So I have a new Chicken Taco Recipe and a new Sangria recipe.  Hooray!

Also enough Taco meat left over for lunch today, so double Hooray!
