It is a really bad situation over there. The worst part is those kind of chemical spills are pure negligance; they don't just happen "by accident". I hope they are ok and were able to secure some bottled water if they live in the affected areas.

My opinion on this is much the same as with any other industrial accident that causes widespread environmental damage. For the sake of not flaming the forum, I won't say what it actually is.
