Hacked?!

Who in the heck would hack you and why?!

Yeah, that was annoying. Fortunately, I was able to correct it and get us un-hacked, as it were. Did it from my phone, too, so that’s pretty cool. Anyway, sorry about all that. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

Did I miss something?

The SoTM twitter account was hacked - it sent me a PM telling to "check out this awesome " on Sunday. Luckily they got it fixed pretty quickly.

Well I guess that explains it, since I don’t do Twitter I didn’t know what the issue was. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

If it had been this site that was hacked, I was ready to go all torch and pitchfork villager on someone’s arse.

The tweet I received wasn’t “check out this awesome site”, it was “you’d better look at this, this guy’s saying something terrible about you”, with a link to let you log into Twitter on “twittler.com” where it would obviously swipe your login info.

I guess different people got different messages.
