Recent incidents of spam

47 new topics? We sure are popular!

Only from about 6AM EST to 6:40AM EST though

Now our popularity has sunk 

And they're back! 

This is seriously getting old.  Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence.  Three times is enemy action.  Time to upgrade site security, I think.

We're doing what we can.   Now that there are farms of people actually creating accounts for spammers, it's a lot harder to deal with it. We're discussing options…

Luckily, when a spam user creates multiple threads, we can delete them all when we delete the user, so it makes getting rid of them pretty easy. We just have to have a mod/admin around to do it. 

Not blaming the mods on this I know you guys do your best.   It seems like cajunjoel or whomever is the admin for the forum needs to put something in place to limit this.
