What do you like?

If you like cooperative games, check out this list for some options. Personally, I love Dead of Winter (without the non-Coop options), Flash Point, and Lord of the Rings.

Manila - worker placement, hidden objectives, and playing the odds. One of the best board games I’ve ever played, period. It was out of print not long ago and I think it just came back in for a new run.

Dragoon - action point tactics, random map generation, area control. Sort of like a really slick, simplified version of Sentinel Tactics. Strong on theme and production quality. (Some pieces are gold-plated!) You can buy it at Thinkgeek now.

Splendor - buy stuff to let you buy more stuff, while denying other players the same. A really pasted-on theme but the gameplay is smooth and well-executed.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf - mafia, but with more structure and lower stakes so it doesn’t end with everybody angry at each other after six rounds where you didn’t get to do anything because you got killed early. A really great party game.
