I know it's kinda early, but Happy Halloween!
Is anyone dressing up this halloween?
Who's dressing up as a pun?
Got any good Halloween jokes?
I plan to keep it classic this year and dress as a witch tomorrow. Tonight I plan to dress up too, but I haven't quite decided on what to do since it's so last minute.

My five-year-old is planning to be Hermione Granger, although she looks more like a Weasley. My 10-year-old is planning GI Bunker. Will try to post a pic of that one. My decision to dress up or not as I take them out will be weather-dependent, assuming that temps in the 40s plus rain don't dampen their enthusiasm (pun intended).

I'm going out for Halloween-themed gaming, but that's about it.

I'm going to a Halloween-themed Malifaux tournament-type thing, followed by an evening of work.

The kids in costume.
we started getting serious rain just as trick-or-treating began. I grabbed a white lab coat to put over my jacket, and claimed to be a mad scientist. (The phrase "terra lunar impulsion beam" did come out of my mouth once.)
the Munchkin was quite insistent that she was Hermione Granger and not a Weasley, although she shares her name with a Weasley.)
Edit: picture too big; I'll have to link or compress later.

Hey I gave full size Reese's at my house so it wasn't the "fun size" stuff. What I did see that was scary was how bad my favorite hockey team played last night. One of the few times I left a game early.

I still haven't had a chance to try to shrink the actual picture, so I'll instead just link to where I posted it on Twitter:

On the left is GI Bunker; on the right is Ravenclaw-Hermione Granger.
