I picked this up on Steam Early Access yesterday; I had wanted to Kickstart it, but I was unemployed during the drive, so I was unable to.
Darkest Dungeon is a Lovecraft-tinged medieval Rogue-like with a really unique "Stress" mechanic--in addition to managing your party's hit points, your heroes gain stress from crawling through undead-infested dungeons, which can lead to inter-party conflict and even total breakdowns.
I've done pretty well thusfar--I played last night for about 4 hours total, with no fatalities and no failed quests. Party balance is incredibly important, as is position within your party. It's a real challenge, but a ton of fun with great atmosphere; the voice-over alone is spectacular!

Stop taunting me. I KSed it and my crappy chipset doesn't support the OpenGL for it. Glad to hear it is good for when I am able to play it though.

I will check it out but it may be a while. I haven't had much opportunity for video games in a while.

It is on my seriously-look-at-because-it-really-strikes-a-chord-with-me list, I need to find a few more APs of it before I go ahead and purchase it though.

There are quite a few online right now. A fellow named NorthernLion has a fairly long playthrough, and is part of a larger network of people who are also playing (whom he uses as his various characters' names). They're pretty quality.

Looks like a good game, but as I do with most steam games, probably won't pick it up till there's a sale. Getting cut from 40 hours a week down to 15 or 20 is rough and no excess money for things I'm only curious about. Need an absolute interest in something, like I have with SotM, to buy things right away.

its on my wishlist, but Sunless Sea (especially having just come out of early access) and Endless Dungeon are taking up more of my time of late.

Adam can't stop talking about it here at HQ. It's almost enough to make me want to buy a game that will stress me out immensely.
