Since apparently this is now the “misc. play by forum” board, how about a game of 20 questions? It’s like the Crack the Case thread Pydro is running, but more favorable for those of us who are… Less creative.
In case you don’t know, I pick a thing; it can be an event, a location, a character (fictitious or otherwise), an inanimate object, etc. As long as its identity can be deduced by the forum at large. So no specific family members, etc. The guesser (all of you in thus case) gets to ask questions, which must be answered honestly and as concisely as possible, using only the following answers:
Yes
No
Sometimes
Partially
Irrelevant
Invalid question
Define…
You MAY try to guess before the 20 questions are up, but it counts as a question.
For this first one, I’ll start fairly simple. 'Tis a character.
Also, I’m at work, so there will be a gap in there. If multiple questions are asked before I get to answer, I will answer the first, and ignore the rest, since – it you’re playing correctly – your questions should change as the others are answered.

I don’t think it has to be a character.

No.
However, I am correcting one if my previous answers. I’m changing the answer about comics to “I don’t think so, but don’t quote me on it.”

Yes.
Also, further correcting my answer, yes. It WAS in at least one comic. I was not aware of the comics’existence at the time of answering, but apparently there are, and the character IS in at least one of them. Sorry.

Since it's an American TV show I'm probably not likely to know it unless it's really well-known (hence the Futurama guess). I can't really think of any other animated robots except the one from the Jetsons (the maid, whose name I don't know) and erm...yeah. That wasn't an official guess, btw.

I don't have access to the Cartoon Network channel, so I have no idea what shows on it. Well, cartoons, clearly, but I dunno which ones ;). Well, presumably all American ones as that's an American channel as far as I'm aware. Arr, it's like a Sporcle TV quiz :(.
