Honestly, crocheting a pirate ship isn't really that hard, but the amount of yarn that would go into that model would be staggering. We'd probably need to start a fundraiser for Silverleaf.
Well, I was imagining a large-scale MDP with all of the levels and turbolifts and stuff. Maybe some little battalion dudes to go with it.
As Julia says, the yarn would be an issue, as would the time it'd soak up.
I'd also need good pictures to work from, showing enough of the ship that I could get it as correct as possible.
You are making me think about tiny little figures though. Like 1" dolls, and an appropriately-scaled ship. Some day.
