Hippocalypse is the small death. The one you die a million before the game ends.

Le petit mort?

Hippocalypse is an orgasm?

Looks like I've been doing it wrong for years then.

You don't know what you're missing.

Hippo - from the Greek for "horse"

Calypse - from the Greek for "hung like a" (ha, ok... not really... It means "to cover or hide")

True story:

The first time I saw Hippocalypse I read Hiccupalypse.

I was legitimitely freaked out.  Hiccups are no joke.

My lame superpower is to make my hiccoughs go away at will. It doesn't sound exciting, but it's a very nice ability to have. I can teach it, too!

Hiccups can neither be created nor destroyed. When you get rid of yours, someone else gets them. It's the only way to maintain balance in the world.

I have that same superpower. No ever believes me when I tell them, but I share the knowledge with my students every year. They always scoff at first but many of them report back to me later to admit that it works.

Wait, wait, wait. I suffer from horrid hiccups every single day of my life, the only reprieve is when being on stage. You're telling me that I'm around a bunch of people that can fix his little, shall we say, hiccup?

Teach me, Yoda.

Should have asked at GenCon. I'm never in your neck of the woods, these days.
