Back in the days when the year was better-suited to make novelty glasses out of, when Flash was young and the internet was alive with animators making movies of all kinds, there was one animation-making site which rose high above the seas of mediocrity. Its name... was Homestarrunner.com.
Featuring a host of bizzarre characters, highly quotable writing, witty satire, and a strange but unique style of humor, this family-friendly site produced top-quality shorts for a whole decade. At the height of its popularity, it got an original song into Rockband, created an actual band based off a fake band in the show, and even produced a series of video games for the Wii. But then, the updates gradually got less and less frequent, until they stopped altogether in December of 2010.
Well, it just updated on April 1st. What do you think it means? Is this a sign there are more to come, or was it just a one-off April Fool's joke? What future hairstyles can we expect next?
