Much to my suprise and satisfaction. I wasn't expecting it all the way here in Houston yet. I found the box and once I realized what it was, immediately forgot everything else and rushed in to the house to open it. I felt much like I did as a child on xmas morning. Also found an envelope of art prints that I didn't remember being a part of the pre-order. So thanks for that also.

Got mine in Austin yesterday, compelte with art prints. Awesome way to forget a crappy and stressful and day at works.
One downside: my wife played as the Naturalist last night (my favorite hero since the beginning of playtesting) and I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get to play him again now since she liked him so much.

I love that Naturalist in Rhino can pull off the Stealth bot/Heroic interception combo with Legacy.
That combo turned the tide in my first ever Vengeance game. It was Timely too, we would have been crushed that round.

I just can't wait to play him in Time Cataclysm. I forget who did it in playtesting (was it you Foote?), but they managed to used Fixed Point to discover the "graceful but deadly Gazelcodile", and I totally wanna pull that off.

I don't know if it's who you're thinking of, but I did that during playtesting. Bestial Shift's actually less impressive, it's Primal Charge and Natural Form's Power that you want to watch out for.

My order arrived in Minneapolis last night; I definitely wasn't expecting it this early!
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to play a round last night and my girlfriend and I have Valentine's Day plans tonight, so I'll have to wait until Saturday afternoon to give it a go.
I did look through a lot of the cards though! The art is fantastic as always.

Man, with all this buildup, it's going to break my tiny, shriveled heart if I don't have a pretty box waiting for me on my doorstep.
This is how supervillains are born.

I have my shipments sent to work, as it's easier then ahving it brought to doorman, or even brought to post office at back of the pharmacy.
And yet... no box today

The Kickstarters weren't shipped until they were all packed, and then were all shipped together. Likewise for the pre-orders.

Got mine yesterday, after a long and hateful day at work. I am not ashamed to say that I squeed when I opened it up.
Now I'm going through the forum posts from my 2 week self-exile.
Then I'll play

All of the pre-orders have gone out. I would suspect that, unless weather conspires to create further delays, most people on the east coast and in the southwest will get theirs today or tomorrow, and most people in the northwest will get theirs tomorrow or Wednesday.
I am not certain on the status of Canadian orders, but I've got an email in to FedEx to try to get another update on that.

Out of curiosity, does the Naturalist have any way to destroy environment or ongoing cards?

Squad, he doesn’t do environment destruction, makes sense given his new take on environmentalism, he can do ongoing destruction sometimes and when he’s incapacitated. Normally he’s at his best working in tandem with the environment.

Got my pre-order yesterday up in Washington, so they've hit the west coast.
Also, every one of these decks looks interesting, fun, and solid. I can't wait to try them all out.

He can also destroy up to 2 ongoings at a time with a one-shot, but only as a Gazelle.

i far more like the thematic feeling of Naturalist turning the environment into an ally, or just neutralizing it rather than destroying cards. Its pretty nifty play

Naturalist in Gazelle form with Environmental Allies (think that's its name - has the Kraken grabbing a villain guy on it) when you're somewhere target-heavy like the Final Wasteland (as we were the other day in one game) is very cool, provided the villain isn't one who can nuke your ongoings >:). I think this guy may be my favourite of the new heroes. I think I just have a much better time with versatile heroes who can be seen as Fantasy-related (the Bard and the Shapeshifter in this case) :).

Hi,
Are the villain oversized cards the same as the ones from the other set, or are they smaller and horizontal now?
AM
Ameena

If you mean the Vengeance ones, yes they're horizontal - basically it's a picture card and a rules card stuck together, side by side, on a single, "double-sized" card, so you only need to flip one card when a villain, er, flips ;).

Hi,
I know the villains from Vengeance cannot be used in a regular game, but it looks like the heroes can. Has anyone found anything to the contrary?

I got them from a normal preorder, although my packing list didn't mention them. If the GtG guys don't set you to rights, get a hold of me and I'll be happy to send along. (My wife nixed putting them up in the Grasshopper's room with the poster of Absolute Zero he got for Christmas.)

This was done by special arrangement as my 8-year-old's present from Santa.
My copy of Vengeance just arrived. This was not a pre-order but a regular order placed on the 18th once they became available in the >G store again. One of the benefits of only being two states away (I live on the northside of Indianapolis), I guess.

Uh, how many cards do you have in your Proletariat deck? Do you know if it's an extra card and you can just remove it? Or are you missing something else?
Just got a call from my local gaming store, my copy of Vengance is in and waiting for me. Is it quitting time yet?

That occured to me that it may have been substiuted, so I counted everything and the numbers otherwise add up to what they should be. It just appears to be an extra card and I've removed it.
But if someone out there got shorted a Radioactivist…
