Anyone getting Mr. Chomps ?

Is anyone getting Mr. CHomps(es)? I'm getting one, and wondering how many people are also going to have a pet dino (or dinos) by thier side? Be careful, they get real  nasty in swarms!

Indeed. One for now. Perhaps more in the future. Or maybe getting together with friends who have one in order to make impromptu swarms. I wonder how many of them will be at GenCon ...

Yes--I ordered one for my wife for Christmas.  While my wife doesn't play Unity very often, she loves the cute robots.

I want one. But there's that pesky living-in-the-UK thing again... I don't want one enough for international shipping. ;) Especially as I already have my own tiny Mr Chomps!

Got one for my daughter, who would play Unity every game if we didn't occasionally plead with her to choose someone else for variety.

I got one for myself. I excused it by considering it an additional shipping charge for the promos and errata cards.

Yup.  I love it.  I'll have a hard time keeping out of my daughter's room.

I'd love to get one (or three) at some point, but...yeah, UK shipping...bleh :P. Hopefully one of the gaming places over here (like Games Lore) will get some at some point, and then I can order from there instead:). I haven't even looked at how much they cost yet.

$19.95, which is about £12 at the moment I think.

We are going to try to get them in stores, but it might be fairly tricky since we don't have the same sort of margin on these as we do on games, so we can't sell to stores or distributors with the margins that they expect.

Oh well, you guys will have to come over to the UK again and bring some with you so I can buy one then ;).

I totally second that. 

I bought one.  But I wanted to buy three.  I really, REALLY wanted to buy three.  But I'd rather two more Sentinels have a Mister Chomps each than have a playset for myself.

Maybe if there are any left after the holidays!

Mr. Chomps is ordered.  He shall be the guardian of our games cabinet, possibly under the comedically misleading name of "Antoine".

Would a joint bulk(ish I'm not sure if three counts as a bulk) order to split the shipping make things more reasonable? PM me. We'll do lunch.

I won't be getting one soon, but it would be a safe bet that Mr Chomps will find his way into my home at some point or another.

I came for the errata cards, I figured I'd get the empty expansion box for shelving reasons, I saw Mr. Chomps. I thought he looked cool but I wasn't convinced he'd be high quality. There's a lot of stuffed animals in my living room and the gf and I have high standards (once you go Cuddlekins, you don't go back).  Wasn't sure if he was soft enough, wasn't sure if he'd be stitched well enough, wasn't sure if he was big enough to be worth the price. Looked at him for an hour.

But he's a plush robot t-rex so I decided to stop kidding myself and ordered him.

He is awesome.

Soft to the touch, not over-stuffed, nicely detailed, nice shade of red.  I am extremely happy with my purchase.

My errata cards weren't in the box though. Maybe Mr. Chomps ate them?

Minor correction - he's not a T-Rex, he's a Raptor ;).

You can call him a Raptor all you want, but he's a T-Rex.  

Some time soon, I will set up my brand new Rampage game that arrived, and take a picture with Mr. Chomps and another stuffed T-Rex I have and you will see the similarities as they destroy Meepopolis.  

Seconded.  But my Chomps is better, as he refrained from consuming my errata cards.

Raptor bot is more fun to say.

He's got those giant toe-claws for ripping out your guts (in the cutest way).  He's no T-Rex.

The rest of his physiology is close to the classic T-Rex though... especially that giant head... Unity definitely took design cues from both species. He is a mutt.
