Hey all, like everybody on here I am keen to get the errata cards and promos but the shipping is scary expensive! So I'm thinking that there must be a good few of us that could bundle together to split the cost and then I will split the order and use internal post at this end. First of all - Paul/Christopher will this be okay with you guys? Second question - if so, who wants in?

Go for it. We'll make it work on this end.

Cheers lad!

Another thought - no reason not to scale this out to the EU as posting a letter is not much more than internal post. I have a non-forumite buddy who will want in so that starts us with two. Hopefully we can get up to ten or so? My thoughts are we split the cost and then it's 60p on top for a stamp (90p for EU), I should be able to provide envelopes at no extra cost!

I'm wondering the same thing. I have two friends who have the whole kit and they would like the promos too but we're in Canada and we could save big on shipping if you allowed us to bundle it up... If that's ok, is there anything special I must indicate in my order to ensure I'll get three copies of the promo pack along the three orders of the errata?

Katsue, that's something that one of the >G crew would need to answer.

Chaosmancer, might be worth checking to see if it has already shipped - if not then >G might be able to reverse the transaction and then you can save giving money to Fedex.

Also, I note that the shipping to UK is now $11 so this is going to be very reasonable all told! (although I think that I should caveat that the shipping might end up being a bit more if the weight of the package goes up - so this is just our first estimate)

Matchstickman regrets having bought the copy of the EE from Leisure Games when the >G crew were in the UK, he has no need for the errata cards... but is very tempted to get them again just for the promos! (Can I justify the extravagant purchase of $0.01 for these new promos?!)

Maybe. It looks like England is closer to Japan than the States is. It depends on how much I would have to pay as part of the bundle though.

For me, it depends. I've just asked >G for some replacement cards to, er, replace a few that arrived damaged and hopefully they'll let me add errata and promos onto that to save shipping. (I completely understand if they don't, but it was worth an ask).

If they say no, I'm in for two sets.

$11/# of people taking part (US-UK) + $0.01 (promos) + £0.90 (UK-Poland). So probably somewhere under $2.

I think this is an awesome idea and I support you guys doing it!

Just a word of warning - if you put more than 2 errata packs in a single shipment, you unfortunately won't be able to get the $11 shipping. However, unless you order hundreds of errata packs, the shipping should stay at the ~$40ish level for FedEx.

For those who may not know, it is possible to use PayPal without anyone covering fees if:

  • The source of the funds is a bank account or PayPal balance rather than a credit/debit card
  • You choose to send the money as a personal transfer/gift

So by mathematics 40/13 its around 3$(international shipping) + 1.5$(internal shipping) now. Thats 4 and half dollar - still half of normal price and if more people will join it will be even cheaper.

No problem to send to Poland.

Japan is around £3-£4 postage, i'm happy to post out there if it's the best alternative for you guys under the rising sun.

I will weigh out some cards this weekend to confirm the postage costs to all destinations so I can be more precise. I will likely put some bubble wrap or card around them for safe transit and need to check likely packaged weight and size to confirm my estimates are correct!

PD: We had one game that took us about 90 minutes. He played The Wraith and Ra and I used Legacy and Tachyon. We fought Citizen Dawn in Megalopolis and, as expected she took us down. Badly ^^u We lost the 4 heroes on the same round after a long, difficult battle, but we had a lot of fun playing ^^

You are definitely in the list.

I have ordered a couple of extra packs in case anything gets lost in the post at this end, so there is room for two or three latecomers - although anybody coming in at this point would need to wait for the other individual packages to arrive at their detinations before I would be comfortable sending out the 'standbys'. I have based the price on 35 packs so the costs would be the same as for everybody else.

My cards came today :D.

I had a look at them - unfortunately the errata cards for Fanatic, Ra, and Tachyon are noticeably smaller than the rest of their decks, so I'll jsut continue to use the old cards as I know to remember the errata'd rules anyway.

I had a look at Spite and am thinking he might be...interesting. I'll have to try him out in an actual game, though, as just by reading his card it looks a lot more complicated than I expect it is - I find this stuff easier to understand if I can actually "act it out" rather than just read it.

Had alook at Gloomweaver's front side and thought "Hmm, okay that doesn't look too bad", then turned him over and went "Oh. Maybe not", lol. Looking foward to fighting both these new guys, as well as trying out the promos for Expatriette, Mr Fixer, and Nightmist. Obviously Setback's gonna have to wait.
