Is It just me, or did the GtG logo change?

It did. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed and became slightly confused by that.

I think it's just you man, I still see the die of >G… Not really, it really does look like they changed it for whatever reason.

Yeah, I don't get this at all.

I'm pretty sure that's the logo of the website that's hosting the forums. It's just an error. It's happened before. Their logo has not changed.

I think it is a clue.

Maybe a new expansion that is water based?

Or an Environment deck that is a water park?

Duking it out on the water slide, Death match in the wave pool, lots of potential there.

Maybe Baron Blade's secret plan for the Vengeful Five is to have them run the heroes ragged enough that they forget to drink the recommended amount of water and succumb to dehydration, leaving the Earth parched and undefended.

Maybe the new features brought so much traffic to the site that the server was flooded and the logo change is a call for help.

Maybe they decided to change the company name to big drops of water with sunglasses.

That is a pretty cool name, could give a stock bump, but they aren't a public company.  Oh man, maybe the change is due to Baron Blade going back in time and causing Communism to rule the world and now GTG is a public company, and they are changing the name to get a stock bump.

I think the sky might literally be falling.

Anyone else love pointless speculation?

It's not just the forum; if you click on the new >G logo you get taken to their main site, and that also has the water drop.  The only place I still see the die symbol is on their Twitter feed box at the bottom of the Sentinels page, and that's dated Oct 31 so it wouldn't be affected yet.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who noticed and thought "Wtf? Have they changed their logo? What happened to the normal one?". Maybe it's a bug and something accidentally got changed.

They've also added a "Blogs" button to the row of buttons along the top, which now means that on my 800x600 screen, the last button in the row is now bumped down to a second row.  A bit inelegant-looking.

Well, with the >G dedication to frequent water drinking breaks during the Shattered Timelines shipments you could be on to something here!

That's the logo for Drupal, which is the engine which now powers the entire website, including forums, blogs, news, and all the pages.  Seems maybe a backend software update replaced the custom logo with the stock Drupal logo.

Does that mean it's Drupal's fault that my outdated browser continually crashes this site?  Do you suppose that if I contacted them about it, they'd have anything to say besides telling me, just like everything else, that I am expected to update my browser whether I like it or not?  Probably not, I suspect, and therefore I won't likely bother trying.

Chrome. Why you would use any other browser is besides me.

I tried Chrome once.  It had ugly diagonal tabs and I couldn't stand it.

They are pretty horizontal these days. Maybe time to go back.

A friend of mine once tried Chrome, it rewrote his security settings that he had spent a long time customizing, so he promptly uninstalled it.

I can't use Chrome at work because all of our corporate wikis barf in Chrome.

I tried Chrome once, realised I couldn't find a nice simple cookie management add-on like the one I can't live without in Firefox, and then quickly switched back.

And I'm still here with the 'fox, enjoying telling individual sites with a couple of clicks whether I want their tasty cookies or not rather than having the traditional three options of Yes, No, and Annoy Me By Asking Every Time Until I Switch Back To No And Get Frustrated That I Have To Switch Back To Yes Every Time I Want A Site To Actually Log Me In.
