I want to preserve the cards for a while, thus I am going to order 1200 plus premium sleeves. I want to also get KMC perfect fit or ultra pro fit and am also leaning towards kmc black matte for premium sleeves. However I read online that perfect fis dont work? Is there any way I can get double sleeves for sotm? Also, what are your opinions regarding clear versus colored sleeve backs for sotm
Any response would be greatly appreciated

Definitely get clear back sleeves :) Especially for the Villains, it's a shame to cover up such a pretty back. A clear back would also make it easier to sort out cards :)

And you'll need some clear backs for the character cards. Perosnally I use Fantasy Flight Standard game sleeveds. They're a bit larger than the cards, but they're sturdy. also very hard to find as they're betyween batches at the moment.

I personally have used Mayday card sleeves that are I believe 63x88.  They fit the cards perfectly and if the cards are a little long, they only stick out slightly.

I second mayday clear premium sleeves. I have used them for the base game and all the expansions. They fit perfectly. Great price too.

I just get the cheap penny sleeves from Amazon (Ultra Pro). They can't sit horizontally in the box any more, but setting them vertical just makes the top of the box rest a little higher when it's closed. I'm not sure if this is the case with premium sleeves, but with the penny sleeves, the EE box doesn't hold all the cards, so picking up a cheap cardboard card collector's box is worthwhile. (I know people have some freaking awesome card carrying solutions, but my friends and I are holding off until all the expansions are out and can figure out a more elegant solution from there.)

Yeah I strongly considered getting dragonshield clear, but I would think that after a while, the sleeves would get dirt accumulated inside the sleeve found in the top of the card, which is why I want to get perfect fit sleeves :frowning:

Depending on the version of the Enhanced edition the Mayday Green sleeves may either stick out on the top or fit perfectly. I have found they also seem a bit tight on the Rook City cards.

Otherwise they work well for Shattered Timelines and Infernal Relic.

Yeah, it is worth noting that different editions vary in size a bit. I have two different printings of enhanced edition which have different lengths by a couple of mm. Also, Rook City cards seem to be a little wider than all others.

That's why I just use the FFG premiums, they are a little big but they are sturdy and fit everything.

Mayday standard sleeves have serve my 100 plays really well, none broke at all. Fit is good except for IR cards which are a little too big.
