One of my friends who plays SotM with me asked if there was a way to play with multiple villas at the same time. Does anyone know a way to do this without totally screwing up the balance, or any plans to incorperate that into future explanisions?

Yes there is! Vengeance, the next SotM expansion will have the heroes fighting a team of villains.
There have been a few house rules topics on the various forums, and one topic in particular was dedicated to discussing how to do two villain games. I sadly cannot remember what they were titled or where they were located, but they should be on the first few pages of one of the SotM subforums!
