Well, he asked. And I said yes. And one-shotted Akash-bhuta in the process. Excelsior! Photographic evidence below.

Woo Hoo!

Congrats to you!

I see that saying No only destroys the Universe, and not the Multiverse... still, best not test it just to be sure!

Also, that has to be the single cutest and most powerful card in the multiverse.

Thanks, everyone. It is a little OP, admittedly, but we promise to use it only in the direst of circumstances. We set up an entire game, had the counters out and everything- Akash-bhuta in Silver Gulch. I was playing Grandpa Legacy and Expat, and he had AA and Unity. Villian round had AA in ensnaring brambles and a carapace out. Luckily, the card is also irreducible.

I actually drew a hand and laid out my strategy. then he had my two best friends call and show up at my place, acting like they'd lost their minds (fake tattoos and mint juleps were involved) to distract me. When I came back up, he'd tucked another card into Legacy's hand.

So when you weren't looking, he put a "ring" in your "hand."

Normally you ask for permission to do those things, but I have to say I liked it

It was rather sneaky. And while we are probably going to have a traditional wedding, I'm hoping we can slip in some references to our geek selves.

If you can't be yourself when you're getting married then your family and friends don't understand you. Good luck. :)

No joke, my wife and I named one of our kids Lucas Aaron after Luke Skywalker and Aaron Rodgers. At child dedication at church, we put down on the card that he was named after two close family friends.

Ooo! In the vows, right after "in sickness and in health" (or wherever you please), stick in: "In peril and in peace."

I bet we could come up with some fantastically nerdy vows. "In the face of Certain Doom, I'll lead from the front."
