Should we expect some new information about vengenance and when? I don`t mean any solid date - something like - in that month or this season.
Checking kickstart page everyday is starting to get very tiresome.
And Christopher - showing us all new enemies and not showing us any inormation about heroes - that was a really interesting move - you king of teasers.

Oi, I wasn't expecting any news on Vengeance until after GenCon, or at least after Origins...
Having done a KS drive myself, I can't imagine focusing on any other product during that time.

There was a comment in a podcast somewhere saying that we're going to be getting a lot of Vengeance info after the GSF Kickstarter ends, so that should be mid-May.

Alright everyone, time to start speculating away before most if not all fan theories are disproven by fact.

Ambuscade is going to be a hero! Twitchy is going to have a mechanic which changes depending on which day of the week you're playing the game! Prime Warden #5 is Miss Information's nemesis! Speculating is fuuuuuuuun!

Clearly Miss Information's nemesis is the janitor at the Vengeful Five's base, secretly working to undermine her efforts by focusing her attacks on the villains rather than the heroes.

Ha! I was actually guessing something similar, but an IT person who discovered her plans in her computer (when her harddrive crashed and had to be restored) and strove to work against her efforts.
I couldn't figure out any other reason a character would have for using curley brackets (Miss Information's nemesis symbol) other than in coding.

A potential hacktivist hero? Call him Anonymus haha. I am sure that if a hacker turns out to be Miss Infos nemisis, Omitron might need to rethink his entire strategy of everything

Vengeance information will be forthcoming some time after the conclusion of the GSF Kickstarter - until that happens, you can take a brief break from checking the ST/Vengeance KS page :)

I'm honestly hoping Miss Information's nemesis is more like Aiden Pierce from the upcoming Watch Dogs video game. Rather than a hacker who sits in a room far away from a battle, a hacker like Aiden could use a mobile device to hack while still being on the battlefield. How cool would it be to have a hero like this guy?

If Vengeance is like the other expansions, all the introduced heroes will have nemeses, while there will be a couple of villains with nemeses still to be revealed.

But Vengeance isn't like other expansions. (We think) We already know all of the villains, and they're all nemeses of the Freedom Five.

There are more villains on the box then we've been introduced to. I also put an if in there. I'm pretty sure we'll get some nemeses to villains in past expansions, and probably get some new villains without nemeses. It seems that part of the Greater than Games business model involves not closing any loops until they're ready to be finished. I'm just thinking that no matter how different this expansion may be, it will leave as many questions as it answers.

My quick 2 cents.
La Capitan and Kismet's nemesis will be revealed! The other 3 will be newbies to the Multiverse and lots of speculating material for the final two expansions. Bringing the total up to 7 for heroes without unique nemesis. Absolute Zero, Bunker, Unity, and Scholar are the other 4. Miss Information may have a nemesis but as nothing is none about it than it's a mystery.
The 5 villains are already revealed to be nemesis to the Freedom Five, now how there nemesis mechanic actually works is a mystery. Either each of them will have a nemesis symbol for their respective hero or all of them will feature the symbol of all five heroes. I think the former of the latter is much more likely, but you never know.
1 of the 2 environments I hope for is the Mobile Defense Platform, as that would be so awesome! This is pretty much based off of the fact the Time Cataclysm as the Main Computer Room. What better expansion to have it in than the one feature Baron Blade and is new allies?

A very good point was brought up that there are a lot of faces on the Vengence box. The guy from nightmists heedless lash. The guy bashing Visionarys decoy projection. Some old dude with a monocle. Who are they, and more importantly, how do they fit into Vengence?
We know they are not part of the V5. We can safely guess that they are not Heros based upon how they are depicted in the art we currently have. That leaves but one possible explanation. They must be part of a new environment.
Vengence is about the formation of the V5, counterpart of our F5. There are other Heros associated with the F5 outside of the core group. I am going out on a limb here to say that the V5 is probably no different.
Ronway mentioned a hope for a MDP environment. I think he may be very close. I am anticipating an environment set in the V5 hideout, complete with a smattering of other related baddies recruited by the Barron. This would leave the door wide open for the 2nd environment to be the F5 headquarters.

I think it's safe to say that Ronway is dead on about the Mobile Defense Platform being an environment. Main Computer Room had its own unique health icon, and that's all the evidence I need.

Great point. That seems like rather convincing evidence to me. That yellow icon looks EXACTLY like the shield around the MDP.
This would fit in with my theory above that an environment would be the V5 headquarters. Makes sense it would be Barons main base of operations.

The old guy with the monocle looks a lot like Viktor from Voss' deck. As for every that appears on the pormotion art for Vengeance is a slight mystery. See them all hanging out is slightly strange. It makes me wonder if they have a lot of henchman inside their decks aswell. Maybe they could be the environment? Though I am totally stoked that Hippo man appears, meaning he may have his own card! Something I have been waiting two years for.

I personally think that's going to be Baron Blade's thing - his new deck is going to be filled with minor-league villains he's gathered together.

I honestly would be rather surprised if Barons new deck is full of lesser villain minions.
From what >G has said about Vengence, they want to capture the same teamwork and interactions the Heros have within a team of villains. Now of course I could be way off, but just being another "deck of minions" bosses like Voss or Dawn doesn't seem like it would work toward that purpose.
Having them tied into the environment somehow seems much more likely. Would they be part of the defense platform base? Seems like valid possibility. Maybe when we get a solid beat on what the 2nd environment will be we will be able to give better guesses on this

I see your point, but then the heroes do have Unity, who is a deck of minions hero that manages to synergise fairly well with her team... Plus the Baron is the kind of person who likes to hide away. It's be just like him to send out minions while Fright Train, Friction, Ermine and Protelariat are out on the front line.

It could be something like the Enead where you have multiple villain cards sharing a deck that have certain effects go off when certain cards are played. There might also be a mechanic involved, where you can make multiple different teams of villains, just like with Sentinels not every battle is fought with the F5. There may be other villain teams out there or just other minor leaguers that Blade hires out every once in a while to do a specific job for him.

It has been said each of the Vengeful Five will have their own deck while being played at the same time. So it will be a completely different experience than playing against the Ennead. Also in one of Christopher's podcast interviews he had stated that the it will change the way the game plays, which will be interesting to see.

I do agree that some of the characters we've seen on the Vengeance Box will appear as environment targets, but I also think we may end up with more villain decks than just the V5, unless of course it's been specifically stated that those are the only villain decks in the expansion.
Edit: Double checked the kickstarter. Doesn't mention that there will be any more villains in the Vengeful 5.

I would like to say more Prime Warden heroes will show up, but it seems like the 5 Heroes that are suppose to show up are related to Miss Information's death in the alternate timelines. At least from her bio this seems to be the case.

Wiiiiiild speculation incoming!
New rule; every time a nemesis damages their respective counterpart, play a card from the vengence deck (which is an entirely separate deck and represents the nemesis "working harder" to overcome their implacable foe).

The changes to the game play can't be TOO different. It's a stand-alone expansion in that you have enough heroes to just own Vengeance (though... why?), but it still has to incorporate with the main game. So maybe the flip conditions for the Vengeance villains are different, but I'm not sure how running multiple villain decks at the same time would work.
Then again, the addition of the "vengeance" deck as hypothesized above, makes sense. Like a situational extra environment deck.
Also, if one of the environments is the MDP, the other is Freedom Five HQ.

One of my big unanswered question is, must V5 be used together? Can each villain be used as a normal independent villain?

I'm pretty sure everyone's big unanswered question is how the V5 is played, plus many other questions. Are they all fought together? Can they be fought seperately? How is it they cange the game? Do they use all 5 decks at once or do they take turns playing a card from their deck? Do you fight them in stages? What happened to Blade's face? What do the deck's even look like? Why can't they answer all my questions before the GSF kickstarter is over? Why isn't it octoboer yet? How well does the V5 compliment eachother every single turn? What difficulty will they be? Why do I find Friction's eyes oddly attractive? Why would Tachyon design a costume to help people in her lab that is the complete reverse of her own? Does Fright Train have a slouching problem? If so, than why is he standing straight up on the back of Engine of War Bunker? Speaking of Freedom 6, what is the deal with Golem Unity? Who is Con? If Con can create a device to allow a cowboy travel into time than why didn't Con just go back in time and perform his own bounties? When is the cosmic entity going to be revealed? How does a similar mask and facial hair make someone the same character in different forms? Does that mean Anvil and The Scholar the same person? When will Absolute Zero get the nemesis that will be unique to him that isn't apart of another super villain group? How does the nemesis icons appear on the V5? Where is my promo of Tachyon in her first appearance? Why does Spite's her change between black and brown? Tachyon certainly did well for herself during Iron Legacy's rule, what was her secret? Is what Apostate says true about Fanatic? Does The Scholar really travel everywhere with his boat house, even to Mars? Where can I get The Wraith's grappling hook from, as I so want to stop an Apocalypse using one. What's with the oversized Thoratian on Projected Paralysis? When will I be able to have the full team of Prime Wardens facing off against Akash'Bhuta?

I am hoping that there will be mechanics so that the players can play the vilians taking on the heroes. Or perhaps a team variant so that one team can play the heroes and another team can play the vilians. I call playing Baron Blade!

Hmmm. Now that I think about it I could do that now. Me playing the vilian and my kids and their friends playing the heroes. What do you think? How big should the Vilians hand be? Two cards is probably about right. That way I can pick the best option at the time, but it won't be too overpowering. Especially since I won't know what cards they are holding.

That was only one of two things I said. How about all the players playing vilians against one (or more) of the hero decks. The Hero decks would get new character cards that would tell you how to play them automatically.

I don't really see how this could work and not be super cumbersome with the existing hero decks, but I really like the basic idea. Completely retooled heroes (or super groups) as the game's "villain deck", and playable villains as the "hero decks" would work and be fun + different. Also, then you can mix-and-match with the original decks for maximal ludicousity.

One of the heroes allies is badly injured and has his conciousness downloaded into a mega-computer. It is this entity that is responsible for bringing down Miss Information. Calling himself Control he takes the place of Miss Information, guiding and advising the team on villain attacks around the world. In the far future this entity continues to exist as a bunker named CON.

Oh snap, you all ready for this? "Concordant" and "Harmony" are two words for basically the same thing, harmony. Who's the master of harmony? Mr. Fixer. Con = Unity + Fixer's consciousness living in concordant harmony in one entity!

Ooh, that's another new take on it… the idea that "Concordant" means "Unity" and that she is therefore Con has already come up in another thread, along with the possibility that Mr Fixer helped in the construction in some way. The possibility that they're both Con hasn't yet been suggested…
