I tried to purchase the Unity mini expansion but the cheapest shipping option is $20. yikes... Am I blind or is this the cheapest option I have? Are there any other places to get the mini expansions without breaking my bank in shipping? Thanks in advance!
that probably means your an international customer? Then yeah, from here it is unfortunately expensive - you can try your local game store, or some online sites that cater more for europe or whatever contintent youre in :) - in the next few weeks the distributers should be getting their shipments out to various stores, so you should be seeing Unity pop up elsewhere online
I'm from Canada so I was not expecting shipping costs of $20. Oh well, hopefully it pops up somewhere.
After the GTGs folks are done w/ the massive amounts of shipping they are doing currently, they might be able to handle an email from you asking about possibilities for cheaper shipping for small items.
The shipping prices you see on our website reflect the actual amount that we are charged for shipping (they are derived directly from the FedEx website). We are looking at ways to lowers that cost for our international backers, but at this time those are the prices we have to charge.
The other option is talking to a local gaming store about carrying our games. We are currently in distribution all over the world, so most stores should be able to get ahold of it (including the mini-expansions). If they can't, have them contact me and we might be able to work out a wholesale deal.
If anyone has found a shop(that ships to europe) in europe or the UK that sells the mini expansions I'd be quite keen to know about it. I've been googling around but coming up with nothing. and every day that passes the shipping costs seem less insane just to get that juicy extra sentinels content. I don't really have a FLGS to ask about it and the last time i tried there. the salesman gave me a confused and bedazzled look. Or maybe I just have that effect on people.
some sort of list of known retailers in different parts of the world might also help people get all the heroes they need to save the multiverse more easily. Maybe there is such a list and I just didn't see it. >_> In that case please enlighten me :) .

I got my copy of Sentinels (and both expansions) from Games Lore, which is based here in the UK (as far as I can remember), but they didn't seem to stock the promo stuff (like Unity and Ambuscade...but I'm now getting those anyway as I added them in to my Kickstarter reward thingy).
I'll try contacting those then Thanks, still a shame they don't seem to carry the mini expansions as standard like some american sites :). Although I might wait till the new mini expansions are officially released. They might not be distributed till then?
right - all kickstarter stuff (Shattered timelines, Miss information, Final Wasteland, and Scholar) are supposed to be held until this friday - so kickstarter backers can get all their stuff first. You might find all of the above (And even unity and Ambuscade) on sites after that point!

We sent a pallet with a bunch of mini expansions (and everything else) to a distributor in the UK last week, and we'll be sending some more to a distributor in Germany this week, so hopefully those are on sale in the next month or so somewhere in Europe. I know, however, that it can take a month or more between trans-Atlantic shipping time, and waiting for distributors to send it to retailers, etc.
Aah, well that is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you very much and i'll guess i'll have to be patient a bit longer. You guys are doing a great job :)
