1. EE box was sold out, this means demand is there.
2. Current EE box have difficulty fitting all game contents, *sleeved* cards and tokens, and more cards and tokens are coming with ST.
3. There have been several people asking about boxes already in this kickstarter, again demand is there.
4. The next "big box solution" won't be produced in the near future because GtG had mentioned the next project after ST is going to be a new game, not a SotM expansion.
5. With EE box as a kickstarter ala carte will likely attract many backers to up their pledge to get the EE box, hence we can reach more stretch rewards and faster.
Post a reply if you support this so GtG knows there is demand.

If not the EE box, an expanded kit box for extra cards in general would be nice. If not, there are other options out there. But I don't think >G has enough of my money yet.

The problem is (I guess) that the box costed quite a lot for them to produce/ship/tax/etc...

Yeah, it wasn't just that it cost a lot - I believe they actually lost money on them. If they're going to succeed as a company, I'd rather they focused on doing things that make them money, personally. I think it's good for folks to let them know there's demand for something, as they can still consider their options and ways to meet that demand, but I think we as consumers need to understand there's more involved than just that demand.
Cuz, ya know, if that were true, Firefly would have been back on the air…

Making loss huh… No point producing it then.

Maybe a product like this would eventually be cool:
Box, tokens, stickers, maybe some reprints or other useful stuff.

I just figured making and decorating my own box is part of the collecting process. Decks keep being added... both by expansions and me buying extras to try out multiples of the same hero in one game... so I don't worry too much about an ultimate storage solution. I just keep making bigger and bigger boxes as needed.
I would definitely rather have >Games just focus on kickass content.
Maybe once the SOTM arc comes to an end they can make some collector's box items available.

Wait, GTG actually mentioned that the next project after ST is not a SOTM expansion? Noooooooooooooooooooooo.... Where did you see that? I'm a sad panda

Two things I remember seeing (though I don't remember where I had seen them):
Next game release from Greater than Games is going to be a new franchise.
Next Sentinels of the Multiverse release is going to be another full standalone set.

I've heard the confirmation of a bigger box in the next release. I assumed that meant normal expansion (plus maybe tokens or something) in a big box…where was it confirmed it will actually be a full standalone set? Is that like a second core game…10 heroes, 4 villains, 4 environments?

Oh that would be cool.. with 10 more heroes, 4 more villains and 4 more enviroments I hope they put it out in the "Sentinels of the Multiverse wheeled Suitcase"

As a disclaimer, this is what I remember seeing. And, as has been noted frequently in the past, my memory has been completely incorrect. So take it for what it's worth.

I believe they've only said it was going to be different from the previous expansions - that it wasn't going to be a 2-4-2. That's about all they've shared to my knowledge...

I think they also mentioned it would drastically change the way the game was played. Or maybe I just made that up.

I would pay 20 for an empty EE box through kick starter. I know you can use other boxes, but the EE box looks nices and fits the cards nicely.

I need another box too. I would be able to fit all the cards in the game, while sleeved, including ST in 2 boxes. Since it looks like we won't be able to get them any longer what is everybody else using to store their sleeved cards? I've been using 2 of those 1600 count white boxes, but having 2 is a little awkward and they won't close with the dividers in them.

I have been thinking in not sleeving the villains and environment deck. Those are cards that are not heavily shuffled/handled, so it would be ok. And honestly, the guys from >G do not sleeve their cards. I saw their copy at Essen and it looked great…so the cards can handle a lot of use
But i even doubt that all non-sleeved cards (including the upcoming expanison) will fit into the box
