New Enhanced Edition with art Adam can be happy with?

So who would be happy to buy a new Enhanced Edition (maybe a 10th Anniversary edition or something?) that would have new art (that Adam could be happy with)? Something where Adam can take the opportunity to rework the art, maybe not completely replace it but at least upgrade the quality to match his improved skills?

I'd honestly buy it in a heartbeat, myself, but I have no idea if there's a lot of interest outside my own, fanatical circle.

I'd certainly buy it.   It would be interesting to compare the two for sure.

Adam's an artist. There is no such thing as "art he'll be happy with". The instant its at the printer he'll see a "glaring error" or something he could do better. :-)

This.

But you know, I'd still buy it. The more used decks and box of the Enhanced Edition I own could stand to be replaced…

Honestly?  One of the things I'm most looking forward to from the incoming OblivAeon items is the set of new dividers.  Even moreso than my cards, the dividers in my game have really gotten beaten up.

Ha!   Okay, that's fair. How about "happier"?

Happier now is not happier (another) 10 years from now!

I can't afford it right now, and while 10 years is cool, I'd think that should wait for the 25th anniversary, that's a bigger one and it will give him even more time to improve.

I might if my cards were in really bad shape at the time and needed replacing anyway. Just to have new art? Probably not.

I'd certainly look to something like that for replacement cards, but I don't think I need a second copy of the entire game. Sure as heck can't afford it!

In the opposite direction, if anyone had the artwork from the original version (if different compared to the enhanced edition) that they'd like to show me, I'd love that.

As soon as Adam groaned in the new interlude about the art in the Core set I thought of this. What a fun idea!

Whenever I see a topic like this come up, I remember these words of the webcomic artist Howard Taylor:

(Incidentally, you guys should totally check out Schlock Mercenary.  It's great.)

I can vouch for this.

Just beware, a full archive dip will take a long time.

Also true. Fortunately you can easily start at one of the later books without a problem.

Indeed.  Older books are available as dead-tree editions, as well.

Yes but remember Maxims 37 and 46 when doing a full archive binge.

It depends, from the core game there’s only three specific decks I can think of that could particularly do with improving the artwork,
and some other cards here and there (Tempest, Tachyon and Ra… Basically cards which rely on elemental type effects) although it would be nice to see more polish on it overall.
Which overall isn’t that many cards so could easily get away without needing it as such. However, that artwork does really impact how good those decks look and I would love improved art for various reasons for each - Tachyon for probably being the worst culprit and in need of it, Tempest for being one of my favourite characters and Ra for being a good beginner character so often will be some of the first artwork someone being introduced to the game will see.
