Is anyone else having problems getting onto the Greater Than Games website? For some reason, I can access it just fine using my phone (iOS), but when I try from a desktop computer, it times out and I can't reach the site. I've tried different computers (office and home), as well as different browsers, all without success.
I had an issue this morning on my phone. 5 minutes later it worked and it worked the rest of the day for me… but for a brief window I did have that happen.
It was flaking out on me this morning, too. Couldn't get to it via computer, but my phone worked, then my phone stopped. Eventually they both worked later in the day.
We raised the issue with Joel, but with the inconsistency of the situation, not sure how much he can do. 
I actually had trouble connecting on another computer, but changing the https to http fixed it, even though it eventually went back to https.
I updated Firefox, then tried to go onto the site, and couldn't connect. Firefox, however, opined on its own that it might not be able to load the site because of my security settings, and offered to reset them to defaults. Once I did that, it loaded fine. Might be related to the Http:-Https: thing.

Site hasn’t worked from my phone when I’m on Wifi since last night, but works fine when I’m at work using my data…
Haven't been able to access the forums for two days straight, but NOW I CAN :D I thank robb8888 and LewdDolphin, who did nothing but tell me about this thread. :B There must have been some magic.
And if flaked out on me again this morning: It was working fine, stopped for a few minutes, then started again. Very annoying…
Hasn't worked on my phone since around 4:00 yesterday....
Edit: Actually it's working on my phone when I'm on my home wifi, but not when I use mobile data.
I've seen intermittant connection issues mostly on my phone. I was on mobile data getting the site to come up fine and when I switched to the wifi at the place I was at it wouldn't load until after multiple refresh attempts.
I've been able to connect from my phone and usually from my laptop, but oddly not on my laptop when tethered through my phone.
Over on BGG, phantaskippy reports that he's been unable to connect for several days.

Okay, it looks like I need better monitoring than "server alive".
One of the servers that runs the site was down(-ish) and not responding to web requests, but was still receiving traffic and if you hit the bad machine (50/50 chance) you got stuck there. It should all be back to normal now. I'm going to keep an eye on things the rest of today and enable more and better monitoring.
Thanks for your patience. I didn't initially see anything wrong, but I also didn't look as deeply as I could. The intermittent nature of these things is also misleading sometimes. It took a warning of a failed backup to make me look deeper.

I know the issue is being resolved, but do we want to move this thread to the general discussion page? I don't think of someone is looking for threads on connection issues to the website that they'll look under the videogame tab...
