I got my tracking number for my order the other with an expected delivery on Saturday. Great! I contact friends and arrange a game on Sunday to break it all in.
Then the tracking shows the package go from St. Louis, right past Louisville, Ky (it's destination) to Independence, Ky and from there to Indianapolis, In. The delivery date has now been moved back to Monday.
The villainous FedEx has me in it's clutches and I am powerless against its' cruel games.

I too am rocked by the foul schemes of FedEx. All week, it has remained with the last update being that it had left the FedEx facility in St. Louis, with delivery by no later than Saturday; and then suddenly this morning it updated to say that it's left the main FedEx facility for my region (Sacramento, apparently) and will be delivered no later than...Monday.
At least I hadn't already set up a gathering. You have my sympathy.

If it is being sent via FedEx SmartPost then it is going to the nearest SmartPost hub, of which there are only 25 in United States, for hand off to the USPS. The nearest hub to you is in Indianapolis, Indiana. http://www.fedex.com/us/smart-post/network.html
I don't recall taking any special shipping options. So your first explanation is the likely one. Honestly I figured it was likely something of the sort. Thanks for the insight.
Still sucks to know it drove right past me though.

Yep. My copy went right past me too. Smart post takes an extra week or so, but it is much less likely to end up lost than if it was sent by regular post.

Yes, they will. As a delivery driver, that happens all the time. As long as there isn’t another street with the same name but the other qualifier in the zipcode it will plot it to the street that’s closest. And we deliver drivers generally know our way around.
If you’re worried, call 1800 go FedEx, tell them your expecting a package, but you don’t have the tracking number, and that you might have put in Lane instead of drive or whatever. They can find it and fix it.

I feel your pain, but right about now I wish I had the same problem. Still no notifications from Fedex regarding my order. Fingers crossed that it's shipped before Broken City.

My copy has been bouncing around Atlanta (where I live) since Friday. It has never been more than a 20 or 30 minute drive away from me. I would have gladly drove over and picked it up. As it is the schedule says it will be delivered on Wednesday. I think they have opened it up and are getting in a few games before they deliver it to me.

The foul machinations of the villainous FedEx have apparently been thwarted!
My package arrived yesterday and everything was in order. I opened it up and immediately got a full-on pounding from Ambuscade, Plague Rat and Bugbear at the Court of Blood.

For those who got shipping notifications, did you guys get them through <G or did you get them through FedEx? Just wondering because I don't have a FedEx account.

We got them through FedEx; if you call their customer service number and give them your address, they should be able to tell you if you have anything incoming.

It came from FedEx for me. I do not have a Fedex account either so I don't think it requires one.

Waedens, you can actually do that. Call the number I listed above, (1800gofedex) and if it hasn't gone out on a truck, you can usually go down to the terminal and pick it up. Just bring your tracking number and an ID with your address on it.

Thanks lynkfox. I will keep that up my sleeve for the next time Fedex holds my goods hostage.
