Hey Everyone,

We are interviewing Christopher this week on our podcast and we wanted to know if you had any questions you wanted us to ask him.

Do you have a question about the upcoming Spirit Island? How about the world of Sentinel Comics? Or maybe the company in general.

Put them in this forum and we will try to ask them on the show.

Then check out the show next weekend on our website - https://boardsalivepodcast.wordpress.com/

Thanks,

Aaron

I would ask him why he spells his name so weird inthe title of this thread!

(I'll come up with more serious ones later, I love your guys style)

1.  Besides Senitnels RPG will there be any more details filled in about the SotM storyline once the last expansion is released?

2.  What plans are there for Galatic Strike Force?

3.  Are there still plans to release Cosmic Contest?

4.  What is the process for making promo characters for SotM?

If I have any others I'll edit this post

If you weren't designing games professionally, what would you be doing? Do you think you would have some other creative outlet?

Where do you see >G going? Can you imagine it getting Asmodee big?

The Sentinels card game is ending. Are you happy that you get to share a whole story with everyone else or sad that you're on longer going to be telling this story in this form?

Spirit Island is someone else's game, how much input into the story behind the game did >G have? Do you think the story has as big a connection to the game as Sentinels does?

When are you next coming to England?

Are there more games to come set in the Sentinels Universe?

Would you be interested in making a WW2 strategy game that features Greatest Legacy, G.I. Bunker, Blade Sr. or any forgotten Sentinels heroes of the time period?

My question is what would need to be done to create a story mode for the game for the more epic battles of the sentenials of the multiverse? Be fun to play thru different fights that make up the story with the heroes that were there and location. If all else fails, can this be implemented into the video game. I know handelabra has said this is on their wish list for the game for some kind of campaign mode

There is a ton of backstory to Sentinels of the Multiverse. It comes through in the bios, flavor text, and the stories to the expansions. But I am wondering, looking back on Sentinels of the Multiverse, how much of the backstory and so on Christopher thought was really essential to the game and how much was just extra stuff for his own amusement. (I like building a world as much as anybody, but often lots of it gets dropped on the floor!)

Christopher has said many places that their goal starting out was to tell a story, and the medium he happened to use for telling the story was creating a game. How does that relate to your question?

Ask about the final expansion. Are there going to be any heroes in it? And is there anything new they can tell us, regarding its atypical structure?

Few hotdogs and fewer jumping frogs.  However, since I-40 and I-25 intersect in Albuquerque, taking a left here means you could be going north, south, east, or west.

New question for Christopher, how do you cope when all the threads in the >G forum degenerate into pun threads?

He copes by looking scornfully down upon us pun-y mortals.

I still have my question. Many science fiction/fantasy/superhero tales have VOLUMES of backstory, and not all that backstory is really part of the story. (Brandon Sanderson, Peter Hamilton, George R. R. Martin, etc.) I’m just wondering about Christopher’s world-building process and his experience taking a universe from his head and into print.

And then it gets more glorious. Man, keeping me up too late.

Tidbits on the last expansion: "Somebody is gonna to die."

"There have been hints in every Sentinels of the Multiverse product on what is coming up ... especially Villains of the Multiverse."

I've never watched the entire thing. Also, I was way more excited to hear that if Christopher made a video game the way he wanted, it'd be similar to Shining Force. Considering that is still my favorite video game of all time, I was stoked to hear such a comment. I'm also curious if one of the things he'd keep is the hidden characters and which characters would fit in there. I have a feeling The Scholar would be one. Lillian also seems to be a good candidate as well, unless her story as The Matriarch and becoming a hero will be one of the main plots in it.
