History of The Sentinels?

In the second paragraph of The Sentinels' backstory, it says this: "So, when a crazed time traveling pirate appeared outside a restaurant they were at on a double-date, the giant of a man and the man made of living energy were the ones to stop her and toss her into her own time portal."

Then in the sixth paragraph, it says this: " In the main lobby, a bizarre portal opened to another time, and a rakish woman stepped through, proclaiming herself to be Maria Helena Teresa Fafila Servanda Jimena Mansuara Paterna Domenga Gelvira Placia Sendina Belita Eufemia Columba Gontina Aldonza Mafalda Cristina Tegrida de Falcon and demanding the secrets of..."

Seems to me like the same person since "a crazed time traveling pirate" sounds like a decent (though not terribly charitable) way of referring to La Capitan (who is refered to by that name later on), but in that second meeting it doesn't reference the first at all, and doesn't make it sound like they recognize her.

Thoughts? Revelations? Canon?

We don't know the full story but there isn't anything in the sixth paragraph that leads me to believe they don't know who La Capitan is by that point.  However, La Capitan may not recognize them because it's hard to say if this happened before or after that first encounter for her since she has all those time traveling shenanigans. 

The fact that the portal is "bizarre" and that she's described in terms of physical traits rather than familiarity is what implies to me that they or we (the readers of the backstory) are meeting her for the first time.

As for her introducing herself, I quite like the idea that "time traveling shenanigans" mean that this is the first time she is meeting them.

There are people with a line on the actual canon. 

Unfortunately, they usually use it to shoot smoke bombs. 

I would add that La Capitan may appear different from their first encounter as well which may be the reason for the physical descriptors.

edit: as it stands the information on the promo Chrono Ranger indicates an older La Capitan tells Chrono Ranger to stop her past self.   Also the La Capitan we will encountering Villains of the Multiverse is just starting her time traveling ways.
