New Badges (But mine is missing? :( )

The new badges are very snazzy. I like them.

But I seem to have lost my 'Bring what you need' badge for the wiki. This makes me sad.

But still, stnazzy new badges!

Perhaps you could have pointed out the lack of that category in the nominations thread for this year's forum awards?

I will confess I had fortgotten that category even existed last year!

Oh... I didn't realize that we would loose the badges after the year was up. Sad! Why was that decision made instead of continuing to honor all those who helped out?

Yeah, the original concept was proposed as the badges lasting a year and the new winners taking on the badges with each year. 

So when do you lose your moderator badge? Do we have elections?

Kinda - if enough people complain to GtG, I'm pretty sure I'll be given the boot.

Seriously, in case there are folks wondering: GtG picks their Mods, and will add and remove folks as they deem it appropriate/necessary. If I'm not doing the job the way they want it done, I assume I'll be told my Mod privs will be taken away (as they should be).

Rabit is a terrible moderator. He drinks all day and threatens to throw kittens off roof tops. The other day I saw him walking down main street in nothing but his socks. I also heard he drinks the blood of gophers.

I have a small request about the forum badges. Can their alt text explain what they signify? That way you won't have to go on a forum vision quest to learn how to win a badge.

Only if we create a new badge that you earn by going on a forum vision quest to learn how to earn it.
