First off, the wiki is a fantastic resourse for SotM information.  I noticed the other day that they have a complete list of promo cards for both heroes and villains, however for most of the heroes there is only an image of the front side of the card and no image for the back.  There has been lots of talk about people printing their own copies of the Promo cards and that GtG is fine with people doing that to have access to the promos.  My suggestion would be, as long as GtG consents to it,  to post high quality, unmodified images of BOTH the front and incappacitated sides of all the promo cards so that people can have a central place for all of their promo printing needs.  I know that Chrisopher posted both sides of Super Scientific Tachyon lately and that was really great.

I know I would love something like this if I was a newer player because my experience has been that finding high quality images of the fronts are not too hard to find, but it has been pretty difficult for me to track down unmodified backs. The best I have been able to do for some of them is to use the images from Spiffs oversized cards which are slightly modified from the originals.  For some other promos I have found the incap sides, but only very low quality images that don't print well.

One basic issue is bandwith. I don't think Wikia gives you enough storage/bandwidth for free to support card images as you are looking for.

Here.

EDIT: The images are all up on boardgamegeek, I believe.

Hah! I actually contacted Adam about this a few weeks ago and he kindly sent me all the incaps. Bandwidth isn’t a problem : we don’t pay for that. Space is, but we have plenty left (over 200mb) and I will be getting those incaps up. Im just trying to find the best way to do it. Wikidot code isn’t the best, unfortunately. I was hoping for a module that would let me put both images in one spot and you could flip between them, but doesn’t seem to be the case. So I’ve been fiddling in what little spare time I have in the best formatting solution. Soon as I figure that out the incaps will end up on the wiki!

Edit. Oh you want the actual incaps, with the abilities. Well, unfortunate ly he didn’t send me those, just the full low res artwork. However, it’s still not terrible scanner res, just not like 30mg a file res. With the incaps written on the wiki it should be possible to kinda make your own if you don’t like the ones bgg has

You can download most of the promos from boardgamegeek.com at:

http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/85258/sotm-out-print-promos-heroes-villains

It's missing the WotC expansion promos and SST and the resolution for the incaps isn't the best for some of the cards, but for general purposes it works.  And for about $6 at Fedex/kinkos, you can have them printed on high quality, thick paper.  For me this works until >G does the re-release of the promos after the game is done.

If you want something more "card-link", you can always order from ArtsCow using one of the many pre-done packs like:

http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/sentinels-promos-iii-sl0uo116anfx

I don't understand how to do this.  And why does their gallery have like eight copies each of Greatest Legacy and GI Bunker?

That's just one pre-done order someone did.  I believe the price is the same for a subset or a compete set.  There's always:

Which has just one set of promos, but includes some game helpers as well.  You can also upload the images for Super Scientific Taychon as well from one of the other other posts on the >G forums.

I still don't understand how you actually order anything.  As far as I can tell, you have to log in before you can even try to create a product, and I dislike it when a website takes that tack; I like being able to play around and get the hang of their software, before I commit to giving them any of my personal info.

Then try Printer's Studio. I think you can play around with it without giving your details, but if you want to save a project you have to create an account.

Or you could just make stuff up when registering. That’s what I do when I just want access to a site without giving my real informat. I mean, clearly Benjamin Metzler is a fake name.

Thats a really nice file so thank you for the link.  The incap resolution is pretty bad though.  I actually ordered with those same backs from printerstudio and they are useable, and readable, but not very nice looking.  Still better than nothing though.

Depending on how low the res is, between those images, other images and knowing the text it might not be too hard to put together a good looking image in gimp or photoshop… which is exactly what you said in your last sentance.  I look forward to seeing the artwork soon and giving it a try.  Do you have an idea when it might be available?

Any progress on this?  Or could you or someone post some high res images of the promos fronts and backs in a zip?  The pdf from BGG doesn't help if you want to print your cards off from the Printer Studio site.

Ditto.

If I could get a hold of the images of all the backs and fronts of the promos, I'd do the prep work for them to upload to Printer Studio.  Then I would post a zip file with all the images ready to go.  That would make it easier for people looking for the promos.  Let me know if I can help in any way.

You can ask Adam or Christopher (adam @greaterthangames.com or christopher@greaterthangames.com) for the images. Not sure what their response will be but it might get what you guys want quicker than waiting on me!

I contacted the GtGs guys about this and got a fairly quick response asking exactly what I was looking for.  However since responding to them I haven't heard back (I'm sure they have a lot going on).  Any updates on your side of things linkfox?

This will be exciting. I printed an order off of Artscow.com, which was compiled by folks at BGG and they provided a link. They're wicked good quality, enough to tide me over until the master collection of promos is available. But official scans from >G? That's just too awesome.

Is that what Wraith named her mega computer? I don't see much of a threat from that. Now, a pink robotic golem, on the other hand would be met with dire consequences.

I went with artcow. I used someone previous work and added the promo villians as two cards since i just joined the game/community and can not find oversized villian cards. this link does not include SST, as she was not a promo i was aware of at the time. If you order this as is, you get to full set of all the prom to share with a freiend like i did.

Glad to see someone using it. I also am getting SST through the App.  Is anyone else bothering to get replacement decks so you can run the promo and the reg version of hero's side by side? i am , just because i want to play Young Legacy, America's FInest Legacy, and Greatest Legacy taking on Iron Legacy.

Sorry Everyone.

Update for the Wiki:

I started a new job in September - FedEx Courier. It pays much better than what I was doing, and allowing me to start putting away money for my long term goal (3 years or so) of opening a Brick and Mortar Game Store

Anyways, besides the point - its long hours, and its tireing work. My time on the computer has cut down from 5-6 hours a day to 1-2, if that. I get home, make dinner, spend time with my girlfriend, and usually get ready for bed. I haven't had a lot of free time to work on the wiki.

That being said, I leave this morning for my cousins wedding. I wont have any time while I'm gone, but I won't be exhausted on my days off (sunday/monday) when I get back, I may be able to update the wiki with this stuff. Here is hoping!

I've gone through and rebuilt all of the promo incaps. I grabbed bits and pieces of high-res art when I could find it, and otherwise hand-painted over my scanned images the best I could. I'll send Adam & Christopher a message to see if it's OK to post them for wider consumption.

Example:

![](upload://yvVGsIizKGmXGib8VHCSq8q8BRN.jpeg)

They are pretty ginormous files in their current state, so I'd have to get with Lynkfox to share them directly. Until then, however, is a PrinterStudio link preferable for everybody?

Hey, awesome work.  I agree on the drop box though because I'll be adding these to a pre-existing printerstudio project and don't want to have to copy yours and upload, drag and drop  the 200 images I already have saved.

OK, Christopher says we’re cool to share them, so you can find all the promo cards here. They are already formatted with PrinterStudio-sized margins, so you can just upload and go. Let me know if you find any mistakes; there were some old versions of the files mixed in when I uploaded them and it’s possible I’ve overlooked something.

My dropbox account is pretty much full so I hosted them at copy.com instead. It’s pretty much a dropbox clone, just with a larger amount of free storage. You can of course download straight off the site, but if you decide to make an account I’d be delighted if you’d use this referral link, since we each get an extra 5GB of free space if you do.

I've also submitted the individual images to bgg; I'll post links again there once they are approved.

Thanks,
     ~Rabk

I don't know if this the right thread, and I'd be surprised if no-one has mentioned it before, but I'm pretty sure Citizen Blood's flavour text is a Firefly reference.

Also, nice work with the promos. Thanks for doing it.

Oh, that's not even a question. Yes, that's a reference.

There are a lot of references like this in Sentinels! During a Con last year, a con-goer told Adam he thought a specific image was a reference to a not-well-known anime. Adam was pleasantly shocked, saying that he was the first person Adam knew of to get that. They proceeded to have a discussion on different art references in the game that was pretty entertaining (even if I had no idea what they were talking about).

I love that kind of thing! :sunglasses:

Ill hope to try to get some of this updated soon! I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to get the stuff on the wiki.

As for others asking - that's the beauty of wiki's. They are community property and if you screw anything up, it can be reverted ;) So while I don't know where the best place to put incap images is yet (Since i haven't had time to figure it out yet) anyone can edit!

Apologies if this was asked before.  I'm new to the game and I like to go all in and find all the promo cards, etc that I can as I am a completionist.

For the Artscow link you posted, just click on it and add the item to cart and check out?  WIll the item received be a single sheet printed front/back with the appropriate sides printed that I have to cut into individual cards? Or will they come as individual cards with the proper front/back art?

I have the one promo card from buying the game on my iPhone as one of the first 5000 people, I think it was.  But that is the only promo item that I have.

Thanks in advance for the info.

The Artscow link will give you a playing card box with 2 of each current promo in it.  The card quality is slightly worse and the image quality is bad on a few cards (namely Super Scientific Tachyon but I don't think a high res version is availible atm).

Don't forget the discount code.

EDIT: It also doesn't include the Prime Wardens and Rogue Agent K.N.Y.F.E. but no one outside GtG has them yet.

EDIT 2: I also used this link from Reddit. Sentinels 54 Card Promos By Sasha - Multi-purpose Cards (rectangle) - 07y5jdkks28u Www Artscow Com - Custom Print and Personalize Apparel and Gifts
