I like it but I'm just not sure about Baron Blade's voice. Not sure what I expected it to sound like though.
With a name like Ivan Ramonat, from Lithuania (which is just a hop and a skip west of Moscow), the voice makes perfect sense.

Yeah. I feel like just about any voice will sound weird. This one threw me for a second, but then it was fine.
Is it really accurate to call it a video game? This is still the card game translated to an iPad app, right? With cards. I suppose it's a game which has video, so it's not incorrect, but calling it a video game seems odd.
This has been a longstanding argument on BGG, whereby nothing has actually been accomplished. I fall on the side of "digital implementation," but I have no strong opinions. Except when people outright say that a board/card game on an iPad ceases to be a board/card game.
When I play Hearthstone, I don't feel like I'm playing a video game. Feels more like a video card game, which I suppose may be a weak distinction. Just my opinion, I guess.

When the game is referring to itself, it'll just use "Sentinels of the Multiverse" alone. We're just using "The Video Game" whenever it needs to be distinguished from the physical version.
Totally with you. If I can learn Ticket to Ride on my iPad, and then, with no extra coaching, go play the physical game, it's all a board game.
Hearthstone could, with some tricky implementations, be made into a physical game. Therefore, card game.
I get that it should sound Russian but the voice still doesn't seem right.
Lithuania is not Russia. Seperate countries.
They are still heavily influenced by them and I imagine the accent wouldn't be much different

There wasn't much point then and even less now.
So just so everyone knows, the voice of Baron Blade was directed by Christopher himself, and he said "I think that's pretty much as close as anyone could get who isn't actually baron blade himself". :)
regarding the name - we also had a similar discussion about "digital game" vs "digital board game" vs "video game" and we landed on "The Video Game" mainly as a way to differentiate it from "The Card Game". Any game that is played on a computer is a video game as far as I'm concerned but really, when you are playing it on your tablet, you are playing "Sentinels of the Multiverse" period, full stop.
When we work with GtG to come up with the next great adventure in the multiverse (finger's crossed), maybe it will follow the "Sentinel Tactics" naming convention and have some other title entirely.
