GSF Fedex invoice...?

Wasn't sure where to put this but here seems as good as any...

I just received an invoice from Fedex (posted, not e-mailed) saying that I have to pay some charges which appear to relate to the shipping of my copy of GSF, listing two amounts - "Disbursements out of the scope of EU VAT" at £3.64 and "Clearance Administration Charge Vatable at 0%" at £10.75 for a total of £14.39. I wasn't aware there would be any more charges or anything for GSF - I thought it had all been paid and stuff. Did anyone else get one of these invoices or has there been some kind of mistake made along the way which means something didn't get paid which should have? I don't recall ever seeing anywhere that I would have some ectra charges so I'm a bit confused...

I got one of these too. The £3.64 is the import tax you owe FedEx that they paid on GSF, the rest is what they're charging for paying the tax for you. Even more expensive than Royal Mail, but they won't give you your packages until you've paid them!

No, I got my package - it came a couple of weeks ago. I just hadn't thought there were any charges or anything to be paid - I thought it had all been dealt with back at the Kickstarter (or shortly afterwards) as my PnP was paid by someone else. I can pay this random new charge - I'm just confused as to where it came from. I didn't get one back when Shattered Timelines arrived...or Vengeance, though I don't think that was Fedex as I didn't get any kind of tracking info for that one and didn't even know it had been shipped until I got home from work one day and found out it had arrived :D.

Ameena, I don't know for sure, but I think the promises about not having anything more to pay came out for Sentinel Tactics, but I don't remember them being stated for GSF/Vengeance.

I'm not entirely sure what this charge is - is it some kind of shipping cost that got missed, or something?

VAT, I imagine. 

Yeah, there was some mention of VAT on there. I just didn't really understand it...I didn't remember being told about an extra charge, that's all. Maybe it was in a post somewhere and I missed it, since no-one else seems to have had the same problem. Oh well - I'll keep more of an eye out in future, then. Still not sure why I got charged for this and not my past two packages (Shattered Timelines and Vengeance, if the latter was Fedex), though.

I have ordered lots of things from America, sometimes you get hit, sometimes you don't, Import Duty is an erratic process.

Ah so it's just some random thing that Fedex decided to charge me for...how lovely of them :P. Oh well, fifteen quid is manageable...
