Does anyone know where to start the hunt for someone to paint these lovely minis? I'd like to price shop a little before the KS ends for tactics

I did some web searches myself, and I'm pretty sure you're not going to be able to beat that price. I don't have experiences with any of those services, though, so don't have any recommendations besides Google.
(I decided I'll take a stab at painting them myself.)
You really aren't going to beat $4 a mini, and the KS is cheaper than that.
If you aren't painting them yourself it's the best option.
Even then if you don't have a good amount of paints it will be tough to match the coloring schemes, and it generally takes a while to get good at the process.
It also takes a long time to do a good job.
I have a friend who paints minis offered to paint them for 1 dollar each. I couldn't beat that
Check with your FLGS. There may be people that frequent that would be willing to accept the commission.
