Hey Guys,
What Sentinels ships do you ship?
Personally I like Legacy/Ms. Pearsons and Tahcyon/Dana (Cause I'm not gonna break canon ships)
Additionally I think Wraith/Tarus could probably work.
Nightmist/Abloslute Zero could probably also work because they both have touching people problems and I could see them bonding over that.

I said in the original post that I personally think that Legacy is probably faithful to his wife.
Ardent Adept and Bunker on the other hand...
In other news people seem convinced that Expat and Setback are/will be an item due to the DW promo card backs, what are your opinions on this new development?

I'm not sure why everyone's so convinced those two are together. He could just be upset about having caused the death/near-death of his good friend and team mate. There doesn't need to be anything romantic for that picture to work.

Well, for me, it's the fact that it appears on both promo cards and our first appearance of Setback is some potentially-flirtatious dialogue on Expatriette's Shock Rounds. The evidence definitely seems to point towards a deeper, more involved relationship existing than simply just teammates.
I mean, what other incap cards have heroes in such a position? The only ones I can think of are Legacy and Fem-Legacy, who are father and daughter. I definitely think Setback/Expat are a thing...

Title: The Bunker Buster
"Any one can promise you the moon… None but I can actually give it to you!"
Jeez, I would not want to be the one to reveal the truth to Expat (or at least not while I was within shooting range… which given Expat might mean I would have to be on the Mars base).

Terra-Lunar Impulsion beam hath no fury like an Expat scorned?
I go for Fanatic AZ, over time they understand each other better than anyone else, and out of that understanding a love that can't really go anywhere. One incredibly dramatic moment where Fanatic enters the Cryo Chamber and gives Ryan a kiss before succumbing to the cold (it can't kill her obviously, just mess her up for a while) is enough to make Ryan try and end it, but in the end they just coexist, bonded together in a tragic and sweet story.
I also like La Capitan+Visionary. Maria-Helena is attracted to a fellow time traveller of such power, and in trying to entice her to join the crew Venessa learns to enjoy life and Maria finds that wealth and power aren't the only things worth fighting for.
Lastly I think unrequited love with Legacy and Bunker, the WWII versions. Legacy knows what he wants, but he also knows his duty is to provide an heir to the Legacy name, and their world wasn't a place that could accept two men raising the All-American Hero.
Ooh, one more I forgot. I think Setback and his nemesis are more than that, I think she was hurt by him, and he doesn't even realize it. At some point I see a fight between Kismet and Expat over Setback who has been captured or mind-alterred by Kismet. I don't know how romantic the drama is, but it is there.
Man, I think I read too many romance novels in college.

Omnitron-X and Golem Unity. They bond over their inability to really be a part of the group...
Nobody trusts Unity because they don't believe she is the same person they once knew, while they don't fully trust Omni-X because they fear he might still be his old self deep down inside.

It's my understanding that, gaining their powers from different divine sources, they had a very intense rivalry/friendship going on, not actually a romance, but something that could be mistaken for one from the outside.
...Okay, but can we talk about how, even when they're incapped, Xtreme Haka can tank low hits for Huge Sky-Scraper, and that's why I ship them, because that's what a gentleman would do, and she's the biggest lady he's ever seen, and c'mon, that's cute. :B

They would make an amazing couple. Especially when they could have Giant Sky-Scraper throw Haka at the bad guys. At least then Haka could deal projectile damage.
I mean, Haka can already toss tiny Sky Scraper at people.
I wonder how it would work if Giant Sky-Scraper started to throw Haka and then kept hold of him and shrunk. Would she throw both of them?

This doesn't quite count, but I'm including it anyway!
I have started shipping Setback and Parse as just being total best buds. She's really direct and focused and doesn't like complicated social dances, he's really honest and forthright and prefers to just take things as they are, and she respects that. She also has the best ability to avoid the consequences of his terrible luck because she keeps recognizing the patterns right before it happens, and she sort of teases him about it.
She arranged for Expatriette to see Setback shirtless because she totally ships the pair of them and was convinced that this would help. It did.

I feel like the Idealialist "TOTES" ships Argent Adept and the Visionary. and the Visionary is Immensley embarassed by this because it's the only girly gosip they've had she is involved in & because of her fighting with/help from Argent Adept with the Dark Visionary thing, she can't be 100% sure that it isn't an idea that she put in the young heroines' head

Sorry for the delayed reply, but, until listening to the Argent Adept podcast, I could sort of see Argent Adept and Nightmist together. The way I pictured it, Argent Adept didn't have a previous Virtuoso of the Void to learn magic from, so, even though her magical powers and knowledge were different in nature, Nightmist offered to teach him instead. I'm sort of basing this on Nightmist's card Enlightenment. My thought was that in addition to using that spell on him, she also gave him lessons. Over the course of their lessons, they become increasingly attracted to each other and eventually become involved. Of course, in the podcast, Christopher and Adam said that Argent Adept is asexual, so obviously that puts the kibosh on that.

For some reason, I always picture Greazer as having a crush on Sky-Scraper. Or at least, he constantly hits on her.
"Hey, little lady! Lookin' littler than usual, huh?"
"Yes, I am being shrunken. You used the chamber to be trapping me as such."
"Whoa, ease up there, toots! Or maybe not. Even at doll-size, doll, you're with it when you're feisty!"

Pretty much yeah, considering it's just about the only time in the card game that we see Argent showing any sign of enjoying himself doing something.
Other various ships I've seen off the top of my head over on Sentinels Tumblr:
Tempest/Sky-Scraper Nightmist/Wraith Citizen Dawn/Legacy Unity/Parse KNYFE/Pretty much everybody at some point
Then there was some Reddit convos which added Baron Blade/Citizen Dawn, AZ/Writhe, and a one-sided crush of Miss Information on Tachyon to the mix.

That applies to literally everything I write. "I hate it but I love it."
The only other ships I can remember having were Nightmist and Harpy, which seems to be a fairly common one, and, uh… Slamara and Deadline, which isn't.
I dunno, I just really like the idea of Slamara trying really hard to warn Tarogath not to do the whole "blow up a planet" thing, not just for moral reasons but because she wants him to stay with her in the Enclave.

My biggest three are 1.) F6 Unity and Omnitron U. (To a lesser extent regular Unity and Omni) 2.) Tempest and Sky-Scraper (yeah, yeah, Maerynian biology and culture and whatnot. It’s a ship and rules don’t matter) 3.) Naturalist and Akash’thyra. Because come on!
Ones that I might say I ship but only because it’d be funny: Guise & Becky Blast (the Demolitions Expert from Sgt. Steel), Visionary & Hammer (I guess Anvil gets Dark Mind? Is that better or worse? :P), and of course, Zhu Long & Blood Countess. I can also see a nice, stable, long-term relationship between Apostate and Isis. But only to make fun of Fanatic & Ra.

I like, friend-ship Sky and Tempest. I mean, they're both really friendly, they're both slow to anger, they both had to deal with Voss trashing their planet, they both love Earth culture. I'm glad Tempest eventually got over being mad at her because they just have so much in common to bestie dish about.
Tempest and Sky going to kareoke together and singing lame pop duets, you know you want this.
I admit to still being pretty curious what an actual more-human Akash would look like.

I ship Legacy and Fanatic, not because I particularly like them together, but just because they seem like an obvious match. It requires Senator Emily Parsons to die, and enough time for Legs and Fanny to get over the losses of Mrs. Legacy and the Hottest of Hot Guys respectively. But once that’s done, I can’t help but think Mr. America and Mrs. Christianity are just an obvious combo. Plus I dig interracial couples and a hot latina with wings has to be a spicy dish to Captain Whitebread, even if he’d never think of it in those terms in a million years.
I choose to imagine this happening in the Telenovela Verse, in the style of Modern Family.

Another similarly weird “I don’t actually care” ship for me: Tachyon and Absolute Zero. Not at all based on their personalities, but simply on the fact that cryogenic temperatures + electricity = superconduction, aka speed. (A little backwards, since Tachy uses speed to generate electricity, but it’s close enough to amuse me.)
I imagine Tachy working late at night on some thorny scientific problem, while Ryan looks on from his cryo-suite, and Tachy going “I’m not fast enough, I need to speed up the electrons in my brain”, and Ryan says something about how depressed he is that nobody can ever touch him, and then Tachy gets a cartoon lightbulb above her head. The rest writes itself.
