Indy Comic Con Mar 14-16

Indy Comic Con is already happening!

I will be running Sentinels there Sat and Sun this weekend from noon to 3. Come on by and say hi, please, if you're attending.

You guys sure have a lot of cons in the midwest.  Must not be a whole lot else to do out there. :P

The game room was surprisingly well attended, and much larger than I'd expected. I figure there were chairs for 100 people in there and most of the afternoon they were all taken. I had no trouble finding people to play Sentinels. Had to turn some people away. Ok, it didn't help that we played a 90 minute game against La Capitan (but won!). The Whos Yer Gamers library also had two copies of Sentinels and they were both checked out most of the day, too.

The location of the gaming got moved a bit more out of the way today than yesterday, but the room still filled up pretty well. Except for a brief lull, there was no shortage of people interested in playing. I also happened across a couple of groups who'd checked out Sentinels from the library w/out having played it before and helped them get started.

One of the people who played in a game w/ me started messaging a friend who apparently supplies all of his games at a discount to find out how much it would cost to get Sentinels, all four expansions, and all six mini-expansions ($135, btw). Not bad for 1,753 cards, I think.

We had fun for the three games I was there. Glad I could help, but the real thanks go to Andy for getting a presence at the Con. 

Spiff-We do have lots of things to do, we just like our Cons. A lot.
