Opening Hand--Pipe Wrench, Dual Crowbars, Grease Monkey Fist, Riveting Crane
I'll take The Scholar
Opening Hand: Transmutive Recovery, Flesh to Iron, Solid to Liquid, Expect the Worst
Is this advanced or regular?
I'd like to try playing Redeemer Fanatic, if you guys don't mind me being pretty much unavailable this weekend?
Opening hand: Absolution, End of Days x 2, Final Dive. Not bad.
Have fun, y'all. I almost know Apostate well enough to join you, but not quite.
I'll run the one-armed alien
I'll take Tempest. Does the "Freedom!" indicate this is the promo version?
Opening hand: Reclaim from the Deep, Shielding Winds, Chain Lightning, Ligtning Slash
Ok dpt can have Tempest, I'll run Wraith
Opening Hand - Grappling Hook, Stun Bolt, MicroTargeting Computer, Trust Fund
Sorry for the double-post there, cmschex. Anybody got some flavor? How do we all end up in the Realm of Discord? The Scholar seems most capable of taking us there.

Umm so anyway somehow I managed to post on the wrong thread. Awesome.
Nevermind me, back to slaying the bad guy and saving the world.

Nope;she did heal, but then she took one extra damage from the Fallen Angel because nemesis.
Anyway, the Eyepiece reveals a Fiendish Pugilist and an Imp Pilferer.
I would say the Imp, just to avoid more damage, but anyone else have an opinion?
I worry about having 2 imps in the trash when we kill Runes of Malediction. How quickly can we kill the pugilist?
I can hit him for 3 with Dual Crowbars/Grease Monkey Fist.
Alternatively, can we kill the Runes of Malediction and Corrupted Effigy this round, by any chance?
Scholar can't really deal much damage this turn, but I can redirect and soak up a lot for a round.

Performing a deft aerobatical maneuver, Fixer somersaults off of the Runes, catching his crowbars under the Corrupted Effigy and flinging it directly at the monolith. The Effigy shatters in an explosion of energy, knocking over the Runes, which crumble to the ground with a few arcane sparks. VICTORY! :D
Huzzah! Nice game everyone. Thanks for running it BlueHairedMeerkat (I thought about acronymizing that BHM, but am avoiding unnecessary abbreviations).
Wow, that dive even got a ten from the German judge.
I love reading these things. Thank you all for playing, and allowing us to share.
Sure thing, Grey Squirrel. ![]()
Completely irrelevant, but I once mispronounced "squirrel" as "squiggle" and have been calling them squiggles ever since. To the point where when I saw your name I was trying to work out why you'd put an R in squiggle and leave out the G.
Thanks for the game, everone! It was fun. And thanks for putting up with my idiocy. ![]()
You are assuming, of course, that it isn't Gary the Squirrel (it isn't).
I honestly have made a great effort to be nice inspite of the whole squirrel thing. I have no problem with other squirrels, but a grey squirrel once chewed a hole through our apartment screen and ate my entire plate of peanut butter cookies that my wife made me for my birthday.
Broke them all to pieces and was dragging the pieces out through the screen when we got home. Our landlord didn't believe the story and we had to pay for the screen.
One day I'll find that squirrel, and this time I won't just freak out and scream a lot. Next time I'll call it names.
Call it Gary. They hate that!
I like squirrels. That is all.
I originally thought this poster was "Grisqyrle" or some such, and that the last part at least was a compressed and metamorphized variant of "{something}'s Girl" (there being generally no way to know a poster's gender unless they self-identify). I can no longer fully reconstruct my first impressions of the name, but I assure you they were hilarious. (The lazy comic's ideal strategy: assure everyone that you're usually much funnier than this and hope they buy it. I can only presume Dane Cook and Daniel tosh employ this method routinely.)
Is it bad that I hadn't made the connection between the name grysqrl and the picture of a grey squirrel?
(Also, I do that too. Squiggle is a much cooler word than squirrel :D)
I've got to say: this specific game was a lot of fun for me.
Back at the beginning, I was utterly astounded at Apostate's first turn and I was ready to write off our chances very quickly. But, great play is great play--it makes a hard-fought victory all the more awesome!
