If I were to stream working on art at some point, would anyone be interested in seeing that?

I would so be up for watching it, my wife would also just love to watch you work on art since she is a aspiring artist herself.

I would, also, and I think my brother would love to see it.

Great idea, Adam!

Yes!

And if you do a live stream, we could comment at you while you work on art which would be … weird? hilarious?

Heh, you should have done a poll, Adam. It would be really shiny to see that 100% “Yes” as the votes just kept going up…

Except… it wouldn’t be 100%.

No.
I like art (I do go to art galleries and more specifically I like your art Adam) but I have no interest in the process it takes to create it. Still a majority here disagree with me so it looks like you would have a good sized audience.

Now a slightly smaller majority disagrees with you.

Though, maybe a sped up video of drawing some important characters (where it’s sped up to the point of one character fully drawn between 5 - 10 seconds) might be interesting to see, in a compilation of course.

If I end up doing this (which it looks like I will), I’ll probably capture the whole thing and upload it to youtube later in full and sped up versions. I’ll keep everyone posted on when this will happen. It will probably be for about an hour or so sometime this weekend.

I look foward to the upload for viewing when I get off work this weekend. Might watch the sped up version that night and when I get up in the morning i’ll watch the regular viewing with my wife.

Is it going to be insight for the next exciting expansion or maybe even the new game that will be released next year? Or maybe just some awesome poses and badassiness of some heroes pounding inthe faces of some villians?

Not sure if I’d tune in for the streaming part (mainly because of the time difference here in the UK!) but I’d definitely be interested in seeing the captured/time-lapsed versions.

I’d be interested, but I’d be far more likely to tune in were it while I was at work. :stuck_out_tongue:

All the art for the expansion is done right now, what I’ll most likely stream is the cover of the Freedom Four Annual.

For all interested parties, I’ll be streaming my art on Sunday (July 22) at noon pacific time. I’ll post a link tomorrow once I get everything set up.

The process for signing in and having all of your posts sent to Facebook is kind of a drag, so I’ll be watching as a guest. I’ll be there in spirit!

I eventually signed out and signed back in and was able to set it so the messages going to FB were marked for me only.

I’m guessing that a better solution is to sign in using a ustream account (which a lot of other people seem to have done) rather than a FB account.

Sadly I couldn’t watch the whole thing, though I did load up the recording so I could see how it ended. Really do like Tachyon’s old costume and kind of hope to see that on the future promo card of hers whenever she gets it. Can’t wait to actually see the cover after all the coloring is done. Keep up the fantastic artwork Adam. Also if you ever feel like doing one of them again it would be really awesome if you could do it on a saturday or tuesday if at all possible that way I will be able to witness the entire thing of it. Only if you are able to, I can always watch the afterwork later if you can’t.

I am a fan of seeing artists at work, so I shall look forward to seeing this.

I loved what I saw. I was at my job, so I could only catch glimpses as I was brewing coffee and pulling espresso shots, but it was pretty awesome. I got a few friends to watch it with me (either with me at my job or on their own computers elsewhere) and we all agreed that Tachyon’s old costume looks pretty boss. Not that the one we’ve known from the beginning isn’t! It’s just always nice to discover SotM trivia!

I look forward to the next stream!

I’ll most likely be doing it again this weekend, hopefully saturday, I still have to finish that cover. Thanks to everyone who joined me on there! (BTW, I’d found you can post in the chat by unclicking the facebook box, I’d become annoyed at it posting to twitter and fb also.)

Due to timing, I wasn’t able to make the actual event, but I enjoyed watching it tonight. Thanks for sharing it, Adam! Very interesting to see how it all comes about. 8)

Oh, had a question, Adam: What do use to control the cursor? Are you using a touchpad, tablet, mouse, trackball, something else? Just curious.
