As many of you know, Greater Than Games will be at Origins, Gen Con, and PAX Prime this year. What you don’t know is that our booth is getting larger and larger - doubling what we had last year and getting a more ideal location. Also, we have some exciting plans for the types of things which will occur in the booths.
So! We are looking for able-minded volunteers to help man our PAX Prime booth this fall! Gen Con will need help as well, though we will be enticing you to spend time in our booth not as official volunteers, but as organized game players who play the game for POINTS, so we don’t want to take that away from you by making you work. I assure you, it will be worth your time to hang out in our Gen Con booth.
Will anyone here be going to PAX Prime this year? Interested in being part of our official PAX Prime setup? We’re looking for 3-5 awesome folks to help make our PAX Prime experience even greater than before!

Any chance you’ll be at BGGCon this year? Living in Texas, both PAXs are BFE for me.

I’d like to make BGGCon, but there are a lot of stars and planets that will need to align to make that happen. We shall see. I had intended to at the beginning of the year, but MUCH has changed since then. More on that to come…

As I said a few months ago, I’m really considering going to Gen Con this year, but probably just for a day or two, most likely the Friday or Saturday. If my planets align, I’d love to head up and help out. As that time grows nearer, I’ll see what the situation is.

As time to GenCon grows shorter, I begin thinking about my schedule. I’d be interested in helping out at the >G booth, as long as I can get my other gaming in, too. I love teaching new people the game.

If the planets align and I can afford it I would totally love to go to PAX Prime and help out. Sorry, I am already committed to other pursuits at GenCon this year.

I’m planning on going to PAX Prime. I’ll definitely stop by to see what’s shakin’ at the SotM Booth: Extreme Edition.
I’m currently planing on PAX Prime this year. Though it does fall the weekend after a different type of Con I have to attend for work, sounds like I’m in for an exhausting week.

Maybe next year I will be able to attend Gen Con. This year I was planning on going but it doesn’t look like I will be able to afford it and not to mention i’m not too sure what we will be doing at the time. Currently looking for another job (failing at it I might add) and it’s usually pretty hard to take three-four days off after only working there a few months. So the goal is for next year. Maybe if you guys ever go to a game store around the Kansas area I would go there. Almost considered going to KantCon but wasn’t sure if I would want to go there or not.

I saw a post on Kickstarter that they are going to be at Kantcon this year? What sort of plans are being hatched for that?
Also, I’m interested in GenCon again this year and I would love to volunteer, but I’d like more information before jumping onto that expensive parade. @.@

You guys need to tell the planets and stars that they can’t tell you what to do. Interstellar bullying is not cool.

Just e-mailed to see if you were still looking for organized game players at GenCon.

I’m sad to say that I won’t be saying hi at PAX this year. The tickets sold out before I even knew to go look for them.
Yeah what was it like 4 hours before they sold out? That was not cool.

I will be going to Gen Con, however I’m working one of the entertainers booths. So dealer hall time is pretty filled up, however might be able to help setup and tear down.
I’ll be at PAX Prime this year, and will definitely be stopping by the SotM booth.

What’s an entertainer booth? Is that different from a retailer booth? Which booth are you working and what will you be doing?

They’re the Booths the musicians and entertainment acts, usually somewhere towards back of dealer hall, usually a bunch of tables with their merch on them. I will be working for Marc Gunn, mostly watching the table and taking money while he is wondering the hall.
