I can pop return of the dawn as well if needed.  Though I can also take out the environment as well next turn.  I could also End of Days my next turn and wipe out everything currently.  Otherwise, I could hold onto it for when Dawn flips back.

Need decision on who takes the 5 damage between Fanatic and Setback.  The other takes the 7 damage at the end of the turn from Battery.

Villain damage is +2 due to (advanced Dawn) + (Imbued Fraility).  Assault and Battery synergy added 1 to the mass attack and 2 to Battery's attack.

A thumping by the villains, but the +1 DR from the environment means that even without Anvil being taken out Tachyon will be able to hit everyone with Hypersonic Assault.

If we're going to hit everyone with Hypersonic Assault, I guess we might as well leave Imbued Frailty out? Or is that too dangerous?

It seems like deck control from me is going to be most useful; I'll plan to put out Extrasensory Awareness this turn.

We can leave Imbued Frailty out for a turn if Hypersonic Assault is used.   I'd like to take out her Ongoing card then since I can actually deal damage then.

I'll plan to use flechettes to kill the ongoing and hit them all for 2 on my turn (3 if the environment card is still out). That should be a good step in the right direction. Alternately, I could bio-beam the environment, but my preference is to keep Timeshifting for a bit.

Are we going to try to avoid flipping her? If so, we want to avoid all-target damage. But maybe it's hopeless to avoid a flip at this point.

Urg, the hits just keep on a comin' … On the plus side we're at 5 citizens at the end of the turn, so long as we don't kill any of them she'll flip back next turn (unless Parse shuffles the villain deck as a result of her power).    Nope, no plus side, I'm remebering the old verion

Non-advanced she would have just flipped back right away.  With advanced the requirement is 6 Citizens.  Thus the difficulty of the decision on which citizen to discard and what order to put the other two in.  Especially with the synergy damage from Blood already being out and then possibly bringing both Sweat and Tears into play.  Truth, at least, is not going to inflict more damage.

Order of the two kept doesn't matter that much either.  Dawn's flipped side plays an extra villain card every turn - so both of the "kept" citizens are coming into play in any case.

New Intel for initial villain play is Blinding Blast - top or bottom of deck?

And Tachyon is due to get hit for 4 energy by Assault.  Given the way the turn is forming up it can be redirected to Citizen Truth, Ethereal Bonds, or the Explosive Bubble. Or she can take the hit and keep the ongoing in play.

Wait, so if we leave it like it is she'll play both of them? In that case, on the first villain card play (Sweat), I'll check out the Environment deck, and let Truth come out. On the second villain card play (Truth), I'll take a look at the bottom of Dawn's deck, which is Blinding Blast. I think I will move Blinding Blast to the top of the villain deck; it's bad, but could be worse, and I'll use my Extrasensory Awareness if I can anyway.

(Updated Intel lets me look at the bottom card of any deck when a villain card is played.)

So we just need to survive this round, ideally getting Truth down to 1HP. I'll make sure the environment doesn't kill off any Citizens.

Ah, I miscounted. We still need one more Citizen for her to flip back. I'll hope to find Citizen Spring or something. I also missed that Citizen Blood was in play! Fortunately their synergy isn't too terrible.

Portal Fiend is pretty bad right now, leave it where it is. Even if Fanatic plays an End of Days it will still hurt a lot.

Fanatic, I'd suggest letting someone else take care of the environment. For instance, Omnitron-X has a Bio-Engineering Beam handily in play.

We might consider killing of Citizen Truth and hoping that I find two more Citizens, either on top of the deck or in the new bottom card of the deck.

Since Dawn won't flip this turn I'd say with ESP to discard Return With the Dawn, Put Citizen Spring on top then Blinding Blast, and hope after Spring is played if we have a better option at the bottom of Dawn's Deck.  If not, we will have some awfully small hands.

I feel like Blinding Blast is substantially worse than Return with the Dawn. We have multiple ways to kill ongoings. If we go End of Days, it'll get taken out as well. Whereas Blinding Blast will hurt us all (and none of us is particularly healthy) and force us to discard.

Villian damage is reduced by 1 due to the environment and we have potential for more damage or more DR from the citizens in the trash.  I'd rather deal with one new citizen rather then two since we will be dealing with them another round.

Edit: I'll still hold onto End of Days no matter what as I think after Dawn flips it's the best option for pulling this out. If others disagree I don't mind dropping it for a discard.

I realize this is a weird thing to say, but please make sure that Setback dies before End of Days goes off.  I'm at 4 hp now, but I should be sitting at 15 Unlucky Tokens or so if Silver Lining is still in play when I die.  That'll definitely give me a much needed boost.

The Extrasensory Awareness went off before we knew about the damage reduction. So I'm going to go with discarding Blinding Blast, putting Citizen Spring then Return with the Dawn on top.

After Citizen Spring is played I will look at the bottom of the villain deck.

Setback discards what I believe to be the only card in his hand (Exceeded Expectations).

Start of turn:  I deal myself 3 psychic damage [1].

Play:  n/a

Power:  I deal Citizen Truth net 2 melee damage [5] and put 3 tokens into my Unlucky Pool (17).

Draw:  Looking Up (oooh, a replacement for after End of Days!)

Status Effects:  At the start of Setback's turn, he's dealing himself 3 psychic damage.  If Setback is brought to 0 hp, clear the Unlucky Pool and restore him to that many hit points.

It's going to hit someone; probably one of us. But I feel like End of Days will be more disruptive to us than is necessary. Extrasensory Awareness can help to keep anything too horrible from coming out of Dawn's deck - nuking that might actually hurt us more than it helps. If Fanatic and Setback can get Truth down to 3HP, then Omni will be able to kill him with Plasma Cannon and the first hit from Disruptive Flechettes, dealing 6 to everything else. If not, it might be worth having Tachyon Lightspeed Barrage him and just let Fanatic and Setback get set up a bit.

Actually, I'm realizing that Time Crawls is going to be a problem. We would have to deal with that as well.

1. Villians other than Citizen Dawn were fully healed up by Healing Light.  (And Truth has since then been knocked back down.)

2. Citizen Blood hit Setback for 1 HP.  His attack got +1 from Citizen Tears being present, and -1 from Time Crawls.

3. Battery's attack on OX was negated between -1 for Time Crawls and -2 for OX's plating.

4. After Dawn flips the villains will be getting +1 due to advanced Citizen Dawn effect.  Plus Dawn will attack the high HP hero target.  On the plus side she won't play an extra villain card on this side.

Prep for Round 7 (e.g. hero decisions that appear obvious to be coming up)

1. Will post villain turn once dpt indicates how Dawn's deck is to be stacked.  Also need an indication of which deck(s) Updated Intel should be used on.

2. Dawn is going to shoot Tachyon or OX for 3 energy damage (OX would only take 1 though due to plating)

3. Citizen Tears will do her thing and force all the heroes to discard a card.  Any who do will also take 1 (1 +1 -1) melee damage.

I think that is it - ESP placement, Updated Intel decision, OX/Tachyon damage decision, and then hero discards.

Anyone can decide to punch Setback in the face with Friendly Fire, restoring his health and giving him some unlucky tokens.

Does anyone have an argument that they should be a target for Syntactic Analysis (play, discard, or draw the top two cards of your deck)? Targetting Arrow would also be good (+1 damage to a target for a turn).

I already died and resurrected on the Villain turn.  Please, no more punching me!

Also, I'm probably the least tactical choice for a Syntactic Analysis.

Discard Accelerated Assault for Tears

Tachyon

Hmm, I ran so fast it almost seemed like I had a new personality for a short time there!

HP: 5
Hand: Lightspeed Barrage, Pushing the Limits, Lightning Reflexes (2)
Play: HUD Googles
Trash: Sonic Vortex, Supersonic Response, Quick Insight, Sonic Vortex, Blinding Speed, Fleet of Foot, Hypersonic Assault, Synaptic Interruption, Pushing the Limits, Hypersonic Assault, Research Grant, Blinding Speed, Nimble Strike, Sucker Punch Sucker Punch, Synaptic Interruption, Pushing the Limits, Nimble Strike, Nimble Strike, Accelerated Assault (13 Burst cards)

Effects: Play one extra card

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Start: I'm really not sure what to do this turn, I use my start of turn to spend 5 minutes considering my play. With Time Crawls I could happily skip and draw 2, with that gone I'm not so sure any more.
Play: I think I play Pushing the Limits and no more cards

Power: I reveal... Fleet of Foot, put it back.
Draw: I'm torn here. With Syntatic Analysis coming up I'm half tempted to put Fleet of Feet back on top and not draw... ... ... Nah, draw it and one other... well wrong choice there! Another Fleet of Foot!

Dawn should still be at 45, she's immune to the damage from Channel the Eclipse right now.

Syntatic Analysis... I really can't decide who would be best right now. If Omnitron is about to wipe the board with Disruptive Flechettes, I think the only bad thing that could happen would be from Setback destroying our stuff, and PtL is there as a sacrifice if that happens; I think the best choice is your choice, whomever you want to see do stuff.

Omnitron-X

HP: 9
Hand: Ablative Coating, Temporal Shielding, Disruptive Flechettes
Play: Elemental Exochassis, Innervation Ray, Gaussian Coil Blaster, Bio-Engineering Beam, Reactive Plating Subroutine, Electro-Deployment Unit, Focused Plasma Cannon, Electro-Deployment Unit, Defensive Blast
Trash: Reset, Rocket Punch, Disruptive Flechettes, Technological Advancement, Slip Through Time, Self Sabotage
Effects: DR2 for fire, cold, lightning, energy damage (taking one of these kinds of damage lets Omni-X deal 1 target 2 damage of that type); at start of turn, heal 3 hero targets 1 each and deal 3 targets 1 lightning damage each, play or draw a card, deal 2 irreducible fire damage to 1 target, play or draw a card

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Start:

  • Innervation Ray restores 1 HP to Omnitron-X [10], Tachyon [6], Parse [8]
  • Gaussian Coil Blaster deals 1 lightning damage to Portal Fiend [13]
  • Electro-Deployment Unit plays Disruptive Flechettes; destroy Channel the Eclipse and hit all the things for 2: Truth [x], Dawn [43], Blood [3], Battery [5], Tears [3], Spring [4], Bubbles [x], Portal Fiend [11]
  • Focused Plasma Cannon deals 2 damage to Citizen Battery [3]
  • Electro-Deployment Unit draws Reset

Play: Reset - shuffle trash; draw Reactive Plating Subroutine; skip the play
Power: Defensive Blast - discard Temporal Shielding and deal 1 x 4 elemental damage to all the things: Dawn [39], Blood [x], Battery [x], Tears [x], Spring [x], Portal Fiend [7]
Draw: Slip Through Time
End:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HP: 10
Hand: Ablative Coating, Reactive Plating Subroutine, Slip Through Time
Play: Elemental Exochassis, Innervation Ray, Gaussian Coil Blaster, Bio-Engineering Beam, Reactive Plating Subroutine, Electro-Deployment Unit, Focused Plasma Cannon, Electro-Deployment Unit, Defensive Blast

Fanatic destroyed Time Crawls so you can play cards and use powers if you wanted.   In regards to Syntatic Analysis I'm fine with whoever it's played on though if you want cards that have an instant affect I imagine Tachyon would be the best.

I'll go ahead and play Syntactic Analysis on Tachyon. Tachyon, after Omnitron-X's turn, if you get a chance to play your Lightspeed Barrages, I think that will take Dawn down to be the second-highest HP so she can get munched by the Portal Fiend.

EDIT: Also, I can do 7 damage during my power phase, if you can pull off a little more damage.

No idea how much I could do, you're relying on me drawing one of two Lightspeed Barrages left in my deck (I've no Lightning Reflexes or Fleet of Foots left in my deck, the only two cards that would get me a card play from my hand), if you think those odds are worth it I'll be happy to try but if you can do more, do it.

Play Impossible Shot, deal Portal Fiend 3+5 irreducible projectile damage (X). Draw Between the Lines.
Play Quick Calculation. Reveal Extrasensory Awareness, Snap Decision, and Segmentation Fault. Put Extrasensory Awareness on bottom of my dack, draw the other two.

Use a power: Quick Shot. Deal 2 projectile damage to Dawn (37).

Draw a card: Recompile

End of hero turn:

Trash: Impossible Shot, Exploit Vulnerability, Targeting Arrow, Syntactic Analysis, Recompile, Data-Mining, Updated Intel, Quick Calculation, Recompile, Reveal the Flaws, Data-Mining, Buffer Overflow, Gauge, Updated Intel, Syntactic Analysis, Impossible Shot, Quick Calculation

Additional effects: Whenever a villain card enters play, you may look at the bottom card of a deck, then put it on the top or bottom of that deck.
Whenever you discard a card from hand, select a Hero target. Increase the next damage dealt by that target by 1.

Play Lightning Reflexes off of Fleet of Foot's play, giving me 2 more plays and then having measured things so precisely using the scientific methods I am known for, play Lightspeed Barrage for 13 to Dawn and then a second Lightspeed Barrage for another 13 to Dawn, taking here to exactly 0.
