Standard rules apply, and no infinite combos [PHANTA]... I have a good feeling about this one. (Environment will be... let's say Megalopolis.)
Standard rules apply, and no infinite combos [PHANTA]... I have a good feeling about this one. (Environment will be... let's say Megalopolis.)
Are we calling the other one? Randomizer says I will use: Omni-X, Fixer, AZ, and Bunker
Alright, Spiff's randomizer gives me: Sentinels, Setback and DW Expat, will grab a fourth when others have theirs.
I have a feeling this is going to get me killed.
I was tempted to claim the Randomizer gave me AZ, Scholar and Mr. Fixer.
Flippin' Heck... My guess is Skinwalker GloomWeaver, with Ambuscade, notably the Personal Cloaking Device and Vanishes...
Randomizer says Tempest, Ra, Visionary. And I'll take a 4th from the leftovers.
Hopefully will get a better deck and make better decisions.
(Though I did like some of the options the Fixer - Fanatic combo had. Fanatic's 1&1 combined with tools and styles was flexible. And adding Chrono Ranger cards worked with the same 'death by plinking' idea.)
Edit: Picked Parse as the 4th since I have some ideas for a support hero deck.
Grysqrl: Omnitron-X; Mr Fixer; Absolute Zero; Bunker
Phantaskippy: Setback; Sentinels; Expatriette; Chrono Ranger - ready
Oaktree: Ra (Horus); Tempest; Visionary; Parse - ready
Unclaimed:
Argent Adept; Fanatic; Haka; KNYFE; Legacy; Naturalist; Nightmist; Scholar; Tachyon; Unity; Wraith
So how would I deal with Sentinels cards that say "If ____ is active" if I don't use the Sentinels?
I think the convention so far is that it is converted to be self-referential to the character card you're playing.
I will take Chrono-Ranger to round out my team.
And just to clarify, I mean cards like Dark Delusions and Fling into darkness, or say having all 4 signature cards out at once, would they all count if I had Dark Watch Expat's card?
Yuppers!
Wow. Consider yourselves all crushed. SETBACK IS READY!
Really ready, so ready that I had to post twice.
My deck is ready. Using Omni-X's character card.
Well then le's rock!

- Whenever Gloomweaver would deal damage the damage type changes to a type of Ra's choice and is either reduced by 1 or increased by 1, Ra's choice.
Comment: Figured that a universal damage reduction on Gloomy might help for a bit while things ramp up and would be better for the group than playing Otherworldly Resilience.
Sounds good. I think modifying his damage will be particularly good after he flips and starts hitting everything.

Is Ra out, or at 4? Villain turn is saying both.
If Ra is incap, options are:
- One player may draw a card
- Destroy an ongoing card
- Move a villain card from the villain trash to the top of the villain deck.
Ra is out, villain turn is silly.
Hmm, I see you're not playing with the latest version of the cards, as the most recent printing doesn't have birds chaining without The Matriarch.
Good point! I'll take 20 HP and my EDU back, please.
But all the birdies! :D
Actually, to be fair, the birds can get a bit ridiculous, and can (as they have in this case) be used to just cycle the same few cards over and over. I shall start using the recent Matriarch rules after this game, so this is the last bird storm we'll have for a while...
Who wants the card draw from Ra's incap? I don't see the other options seeming that attractive at this point.
I'm happy to take it if phantaskippy doesn't want it.
Wow, talk about greedy, I only have 11 cards over here, Go ahead, hog all the cards for yourself.
Stinking Robots.

And that's game, I think.
If Flechettes destroys ongoing before dealing damage it is, if the damage is first Setback discards 4 unlucky tokens and is restored to 4hp.
I can't remember how it is ordered.
Damage is first, so Setback resets to 4HP. Missed that. However, then Gloomy gets an end-of-turn play, which will sooner or later play another Flechettes, so it's still over.
That was pretty brutal.
